A good, simple small first aid kit with what you'll need to treat the most common minor injuries on the trail, like: cuts, scrapes, burns, strains, and insect bites. If you're going into backcountry for a week or two, you'll need something more substantial.
Supplies are packed into two clear plastic pouches, so you need to sort through everything to get what you need, but all bandages are on one side, everything else on the other. I like the zipper-close nylon carrying pouch. It looks like it will keep everything relatively dry, and will fit easily in my day pack.
Typical Bean quality and value, and I know I can return it anytime if I am unhappy. Don't think I will.

The kit is well organized and contains supplies necessary for initial care. I hope to never need it, I will feel better with it in my pack or car.

My daughter told me to try L.L. Bean for my clothes.
Bought a pair of pants and 3 polo shirts.
The material and quality of the products was excellent.
I have trouble getting my pants to fit right. These fit perfectly.
I will be ording more from L.L. Bean
Would tell my friends to buy from L.L.Bean

Overall this is a great first aid kit. My only complaint is that everything is loose inside the two pouches. In a emergency I can see things falling out and getting dropped in searching for the item you need. I solved this by sorting items into small ziplock bags. This also helps to waterproof them. The compass is pretty much useless as it's the size of a dime and very hard to hold onto. I can see it getting dropped and lost very easily. I switched it out for a larger one. There is plenty of extra room in the bag to add small amounts of other items you'd like. I added firestarters, waterproof matches, reflective blanket, signal mirror, small roll of duct tape wrapped around a pencil, zip ties, more safety pins, fish line (wrapped around a sewing bobbin to prevent tangles), marker, paper, flat reflectors, flashlight/signal flasher, and smoke cartridge. By doing this, I turned my first aid kit into a mini survival kit.

Just got it in the mail, it is great. Has 3 pouches with the different medications and instruments. I love that the back, it has a list of what's in it and what they are for. The only thing I don't "like" is that it is a little bigger than what I was thinking it would be but it's not a big deal it still fits perfect in my pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BeanCustomerNC Solid kit
I'm relieved of course not to have needed this kit yet, but its contents are thorough and well-chosen, and the case is big enough to add a few things if you have special needs or a challenging destination. I expect to carry it for a long time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RovingWFR Good started kit
Not a bad kit for keeping in the car or for day trips within easy rescue range, and I love that it has flash cards to help people with limited first aid training. As a Wilderness first responder it's a little basic for my tastes but it makes a great starting point in assembling your own specialized kit. The scissors are, however, total junk.
