Rated 4 out of 5 by nkaufman Good fabric weight, solid T-shirt
I've been switching over the the Bean T because the fabric weight is a bit thicker than the Pima Cotton T. I have found over the years of purchasing LLBean shirts, that the lighter pastel colors tend to discolor in the armpit region due to deodorant (I use Secret deodorant, and have used other brands as well, same result). The other thing that I agree with in the below reviews is the sleeve length is just too short. Like the other gals, I would like a t-shirt that allows me to cover more of my arm, without having to buy an elbow-length or 3/4 length sleeve. As a result of this, I have purchased the men's unshrinkable cotton T in size Small, just to have that coverage (and some nice earth-tone colors to boot, not a fan of the pastels.) Also, I have notice the newer Bean's T's do have a longer hemline, THANK YOU, for this, as I like, again, more coverage rather than less. It seems to me that LLBean is missing the mark about coverage, and should take a look at who their main customers are?middle aged females.

Rated 4 out of 5 by UsualSuspectStill Please add your BUTTER color
No yellow? Butter is such a beautiful yellow, and I am very disappointed not to find it in this t-shirt, which I like much more than the pima cotton T. I hope you will add it. Thank you.

I wish they would come in more colors such as burgundy, soft pink, baby blue, or even chestnut.

Purchased for friend - material is thin and see-through. sizing is off, medium is too small, large is way oversized.

I think the fabric of this year's tees is softer than last year's collection. These tees are true to size and super comfortable for wearing alone or layering. The solid colors are better because they don't fade. They are beaten only by Bean's pima tees.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nano7 nice fabric, color, but sleeves are too short
The fabric of this tee is of wonderful quality. It is true to size. The pastel color "AQUA SEA" is awesome. Please carry more of these clear, softer colors in your fabrics instead of the muted, muddy colors we see year after year. There is one mistake imo, in the cut of this tee, and that is the sleeves. They are far too short and it throws the symmetry of the tee off. I agree with TheBean29 review. Please lower the sleeve length on this tee next year, at least 2 inches. Bring out clear, pastel colors and you will have a real winner!

Rated 2 out of 5 by TheBean29 Short Sleeves
Why, oh why, LL Bean do you continue to make your many of wonderful shirts with such short sleeves? I don't want elbow sleeves, I just don't want sleeves that cover only the top 1/4-1/3 of my arms. Two inches, an inch and a half longer and these shirts would become my main summer wardrobe tops. Many of us do not have arms that we would like to display. I love the shirts and the colors and the fabric but sadly I am returning them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by lissaj31 Nice color, nice fabric, odd fit
I ordered the Dark Cranberry which is what you would guess that color to be--rich and dark. The fabric was very nice. I thought the shirt weight to be good (I dislike thin T-shirts). However, it fit quite oddly. I am a very small person. I ordered the XS and it was still too large. It was short (just barely past my belt) and quite wide. For a short person who carries a little extra weight, I think it would look very nice on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AthleticNana Great Basic Tee Shirt
I debated between this tee and the Pima cotton tee. Since I was ordering the cream color and some reviewers said you could see through the light colors of the Pima cotton tee, I decided on this product. I am very glad I did. It is much softer and silkier feeling than I expected--it's what I thought I would get with the Pima cotton tee. The trim at the neckline is narrower than a typical casual t-shirt, giving it a dressier look that's great for layering. The label says Supima cotton, which is a high-end cotton that's American made. I have washed it once, hung it to dry, then ironed it. It doesn't appear to have shrunk, but I didn't measure it before I washed it as I had planned to do since some reviewers complained about shrinkage. (That's why I avoided the dryer.) The small fit perfectly--the usual size I order in LLBean tops. I am very happy with this purchase and plan to order additional ones in other colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JC1469 The perfect Tee and Perfect Fit
I wear size 4P and the XS Petite fit me perfectly, including the length. No more having to hem or alter tees to fit my small frame. I was impressed with the quality of the first two I ordered and ordered two more. The colors are beautiful.
