Rated 3 out of 5 by Cocoonman NEEDS SOME ADJUSTABILITY
I bought this as an inexpensive pack to haul ground blinds, tree stands and pack out an occasional deer. Just a few suggestions. the pack could use some adjustability for torso length and waist size. I have a short torso and the shoulder harness needs to be set lower most higher end packs have adjustability for this. If your waist is 34 inch or smaller the waist belt is too big, a waist belt choice would be a good idea. The pack is affordable and a good choice for what I want it to do, but the fit is poor for me, but since I will not be carrying a heavy load and only for a short distance it will work. I have a Kifaru DT2 as my main go to pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HunterEd Excellent Carryall
I have needed this pack for a long time. As a hunter education instructor, I often take friends and new hunters into the field. I tend to carry enough gear for two or three people. This pack secures my big 40 lb ground blind and two folding chairs with ease, turning cumbersome gear into an easily manageable load. The strap system lets me secure everything so nothing rattles or shifts. At 50 lbs fully loaded, the weight rests easily on my hips, making it feel like there's nothing on my shoulders. I'll try it with elk quarters this fall and write a follow up report.

I have not paid $500 for a hauler pack yet but this pack can do the job. I been training with 40 lbs with this pack. I'm a big man 260 and the belt feel good and can handle the weight. Like the rings on the pack, the load can be secure. I did add more strap to pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Very comfortable pack
I purchased this pack a couple of years ago. It sat in my closet because I couldn't figure out how to set it up for my hunting needs. I mated this pack with my Summit Equipment waist pack. The waist pack carries my hunting "stuff" and this pack is used to carry my hydration bladder and meat. I have used this to pack with a 70-80 pound load. Of all my packs, I find this is the most comfortable to carry a load.
I think the negative side is trying to figure out how to "configure" the pack for your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bowtech Is for Elk hunting!!!!
I bought this pack two years ago and have carried out 6 elk since then. Two quarters, hind and front easily fit in this pack. I have had to hike long distances in steep terrain in Colorado. This pack is very comfortable, stable and durable. (not sure why the other post had problems with elk quarters) I also use to carry my blind, bow and decoys into watering holes for pronghorn hunting. Have carried out full gutted pronghorn. Another use I pack in my belly boat to high mountain lakes, with a dry bag holding all my camping gear. The buckle system gives you many options ( I also bring along 3 or 4 cam straps for awkward loads) I am buying two more for my sons, great value!

by WildernessExpedition Not For Elk Hunting!!!!!
Ok well I have bought every pack LLBean makes and thought this looked sweet. It is light and that's it. I am an outfitter in Washington state in the rugged Blue mountains and this pack did not hold up packing an head out and hind quarters. The strap system is mind boggling to say the least. I don't feel it necessary to buy high end packs for packing game out and the price seemed legit here, however it is for packing something light, that's it. Mine ripped on the upper straps with the load on. Save yourself the time and money and purchase something with a shelf or even a cheap store frame pack, this doesn't cut it for Elk...period...

Great product!. Very well made and should last a lifetime. I used it to carry my climber into and out of the woods. It distributed the weight perfectly and tightly-no rattling. It was very comfortable. It should work well with carrying most anything you can think of. It has plenty of straps to tie something down. I'm happy I bought it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wolftec best comfort and great price
After two years of use this is my go to pack. Cary out game meat; carrys in emergency gear. Adjusts and secures to almost any shape load. Great bow hunting gear: very little noise, not to heavy. I use it to carry tree stands to remote locations, quietly. No parts have broken or failed and it is the most comfortable of all our 11 packs and frames!
