I purchased two of these last fall. Love the colors. Very warm. Comfortable. The problem is that they shed and I find loose fuzz everywhere they touch other fabric surfaces like the seatbelts in my car, the couch, my office chair, my slacks and jeans. This is annoying. I have washed them several times and they still shed fuzz. I haven't had this problem with the other fleece garments I have purchased from LLBean. Disappointing considering the price of these jackets.

I ordered this jacket about 3 weeks ago and haven't taken it off since. Some may call this disgusting - I call it a good purchase.

I love this comfort fleece jacket. It is so soft and comfortable and really warm. I wear it around my apartment, which is drafty and cool, and as a layer under a jacket when I go out it adds the right amount of warmth. I am 5'8" and 160" and the large is plenty roomy, might have been fine with a medium. The black is a nice color; I have washed it several times and the color has not faded. I bought this as Christmas gifts for some of my friends. I wish there were more colors, I would buy more.

Rated 1 out of 5áby Likestobike2 Love Jacket but Problem Zipper
I bought this jacket for my college age daughter a couple years ago. She absolutely loved the jacket and wore it constantly all day...indoors and out. Then the zipper broke. I figured it was because she wore it so much and we ordered another. She just got the new one last week and we were at a function together when the new zipper got stuck on one side (which happens) and wouldn't come down.
I was wearing a light LL Bean outdoor jacket and compared zippers. The Comfort Fleece zipper was tiny and difficult to grasp. Without the other side attached it's alignment was crooked which prevented it from smoothly sliding back down because it was hanging on the zipper teeth.
Eventually she got it back down. As long as it's fully connected to the other side it moves freely. She will need to take great care to be sure it doesn't migrate up one side alone. It should remain at the bottom unless its connected to the other side. That's a little tedious for any zipper to be.
I feel the life expectancy on this jack will be relatively short and have change plans to order my other adult daughters the same jacket.

áby TDquilter Warm, but poor quality zippers
In the past seven years, I've ordered six of these jackets in various colors. The first three were warm, washed well and looked good. They were worn so often they just wore out--no problem. I loved them so I ordered three more in various colors. Unfortunately, I am both disappointed and annoyed with my second set of three. L.L.Bean has taken so much cost out of this jacket, it's led to inferior performance, functionality and appearance, most specifically with the zipper.
My first set of three jackets included zippers for the pockets as well as the front closure. There were no pocket zippers in my second set of three jackets, a feature I highly valued and now miss.
There also used to be a handy cloth tab attached to each zipper's pull, and that's been removed as well.
In addition to a lack of pocket zippers, the company substituted a much smaller, weaker zipper for the front closure. The zipper is not substantial enough to provide a smooth front edge for the bulky fabric it's sewn into. This creates an unattractive rippled edge the entire length of the zipper.
I have also had to deal with the teeth separating from the bottom, forcing me to spend time getting the zipper back on track, something that never happened with my first set of jackets.
But the worst thing has been a broken zipper. I went to unzip the jacket and the pull tab came all the way off at the bottom. Now I am unable to zip the jacket. I feel it is now a matter of time before the zippers on my other two jackets follow suit.
Because of this, I will be looking elsewhere for a fleece jacket like the kind L.L.Bean used to make.

I just got this jacket. The material is thick and soft - good value. I ordered the pale coral. The color is actually prettier than the one on the screen. It is more like a pink.
Love the feel of it and it is warm. I wear it inside the house instead of turning on the heat. I live in northern California where the winter is not harsh.

I decided to try this jacket to help keep me warm during these cold winters. Since I retired, I wanted to keep the thermostat lowered to save on heating bills, since the house is no longer empty during the days. I have this jacket in 4 colors and purchased LLBean heat- keeping tops that I wear underneath. These jackets keep me so warm (even when I wear a cotton top that is not heat-keeping). They are very soft and have held their color during several washings and dryings.
They are true to size - I actually have 1 in a medium that is more form-fitting and 3 in large which fit a little more loosely. I am 5'7" and weigh 160 - with a pear-shaped figure. The sleeves in both sizes are long enough and the zippers work great. I can't wait til next year to purchase more colors.
I even wear these to the rec center and when the temp is cooler in there I walk the track with one on. They never wrinkle so when I work out on the machines I can take the jacket off, drape it over the machines or put it in the cubby's for jackets, and when I put it back on it never looks wrinkled or crumpled.
I absolutely LOVE these fleece jackets. Thank you LLBean! I highly recommend these.

This jacket is warm and I like the classic style. I am 5'1", 115 lbs and ordered a Small. This jacket fits well in the chest/shoulder area but is a little snug around the hip area. Maybe this is because the fit is longer so it comes down lower on me. I need a Petite but petite sizing is not offered in this product. Maybe next winter?

Years ago, LLBean made a fleece jacket with snowflakes and a button front. I still have one that I use as a bed jacket. It's getting pretty worn though, so I purchased one of these jackets hoping it would replace it. No luck as the zipper was so stiff that when you try to sit up in bed it folds up and is uncomfortable.
I know bed jackets are old fashioned but I like to read in bed and it's nice to have a warm jacket to wear.
I wish LLBean would put buttons on some of the fleece jackets instead of zippers. Doesn't anyone like to be able to button up or down as needed?

I am very pleased with this cosy jacket. It is well made, fit me perfectly, and lovely and warm. It has been a godsend during a very cold January in Toronto.
