I purchased these ski pants in January 2014. They are comfortable, stylish, and warm with plenty of stretch for bending. I wore them almost every day for hiking and to the store during these extremely cold days. Without a doubt, they kept me very warm. I wash them on delicate cycle inside out along with gentle soap and then hang to dry. After wearing the pants day in and day out, they still look presentable, no shrinkage, and they still have plenty of length in the legs. I plan on wearing them the following Winter season because they are still in good condition.
I wasn't pleased with the pilling of the fabric though. Between the legs where there is plenty of friction, little fabric balls would form. Also on the front of the thighs. A straight razor will remove the pilling completely. If you don't remove the pilling it makes the fabric look old and worn. Overall, I am satisfied with the pants.

These are the most comfortable and warm pants I currently own. They have been perfect for our colder than normal winter. But, they are pilling quite a lot and they collect lint and hair like a magnet. I am so disappointed because I really like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaineiacInMass Excellent spring skiing pant
I bought these for a spring ski trip, with a forecast of sun and temps in the 30's to 40's. And they were perfect, even on the cooler cloudy days, when the wind resistance was key. They fit great with ski boots, and the stretchy fabric made them more comfy than my regular winter snow pants. Room enough for light to midweight long underwear, too. Dried overnight. Better than I had expected!

I wear a medium size and found the fit to be just fine. I have worn them to work with a sweater (casual work environment) and was comfortable while others not wearing these pants were chilly.
I recommend them unequivocally for winter casual indoor and outdoor use.

These pants are great for the outdoors in the winter. They are warm and wind resistant. I have used them for cross country skiing, snow shoe shoeing and walking. If it is bitter cold I wear a pair of silk long underwear underneath.

This is my second winter wearing these pants, and I still love them. I wear them every day outside from late fall to early spring, and they shed snow beautifully, and I stay warm and dry without getting overheated. They do pill badly and are a magnet for dog hair, but I don't mind since I bought them for wearing outside in the woods. I normally wear a medium, but bought a large so that I can wear long underwear underneath when it's cold. They're a bit loose, but extremely comfortable, which is my priority.

I walk my dog 5 miles a day as long as the weather is above 20 degrees. These pants have really helped keep my legs warm on those colder days.

Well-made, very comfortable & toasty warm.
True to size, these pants are non-bulky & look very attractive for sports or about town in this wicked weather we've had recently.
Length is perfect. Elastic waist is non-restricting & very comfortable. Basic black is always classy.
Wash/dry per label instructions: Cold water wash & hang to dry.
Can't say what made me order these on a hot summer day in late August, but I'm so glad I did! I have since purchased 2 additional pairs of these as they are well worth it.
5 star recommendation

After wearing and washing twice I don't think I would have purchased these pants considering the cost. They are not warm as advertised and have started to pill. I wash them in cold water and hang to dry. They have kept their shape but are a magnet for lint, etc.

Liked them but stood too close to a heater at a football game, not even touching it, and they melted.
