This is my second pair of these pants. I pretty much wore out the first pair. I sail and these are perfect under foul weather clothes, warm and not restrictive. They look nice too.
I am 5'4' so I did have to shorten these pants, but it was easy.
They are a little pricey but they wear well.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Seedlady6 Great for Motorcycling
I originally purchased these for winter hiking and they do a great job of keeping you warm and dry. Then spring came and we jumped back on the motorcycle. Remembering these are somewhat wind resistant, I put these on over a pair of long undies and was very comfortable on the bike during the colder days of motorcycle season. They attract lint, especially in the washer so wash with like colors or by themselves. Worth the $$$.

Rated 5 out of 5áby pjryan so happy with this purchase!
I am 5'4" and 115 lbs. The petite small fit perfectly. I ordered these to replace my 20 year old LLBean polartec pants that I have loved for so long, but finally lost the elastic in the waist. The warmth rating listed on the tag says 0 - 40 degrees comfort rating, perfect for New England winter walking! Thank you LLBean for never disappointing me!

I'm almost always a Perfect Medium in L.L.Bean clothes. I'm right on the border between Regular and Petite, and the Petite inseam is usually an inch or so too short so I buy Regular. In the SportHill, I chose a petite large because my waist is close the M-L border, and I don't want a tight waist in XC pants. It was the right choice. Usually, if the waist is good the hips are HUGE. On these the rise is very short so it works. The waist fits with room to tuck in. May it not stretch out, because if it does, the pants are toast. The length of the PLis just right for my 30 - 31" inseam. We'll see how the fancy fabric works!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Thinhiker56 Perfect pant in wet rainy day
I purchased this pant for traveling to cold winter destination. It's made of dry fast materials, it performed really well in the wind, cold and rain. It sits comfortably on waist and very comfortable leg room give it enough space to put tight / legging underneath.
I'm 5'3", 130 lbs, usually wearing size Small, Regular 6, or Petite 6 - 8. But, I bought size M so it give me more loose feel.
This is perfect pant for me and it is my second one.

Rated 5 out of 5áby roxyd love this pant
I have worn sporthill pants for years. They fit great, are incredibly warm (for those long dog walks), and wear well. The only negative, is the caution about not drying them after washing. Any heat on the material will ruin it. It changes the feel and texture of the material, and changes the overall quality and weather protection of the pant. If you follow the washing direction, this will not be a problem.

I ordered a small based on the size chart & they fit perfect. What I did not like about the pants was that they were very unattractive compared to the Sporthill Skinny Leg pant. The material was exactly the same & seemed like it would do the job. However, the pockets were very small & in my opinion, they were just "drab" looking. The skinny pant is very attractive with white piping & huge pockets. I kept them & returned these.

Nice fabric, but I found these too small in the waist and too big in the derriere and legs. In the smaller size I tried, I couldn't breathe. In the larger size I couldn't imagine skiing with that much fabric around the legs. If you are super curvy maybe they'd be OK. I sent them back.

I wore these pants spring skiing. They are comfortable, fit well, and easy to move in. Will definitely wear these pants snowshoeing as well.
