áby jbwNPSVolunteer Great Camping Shelter
We researched several screen rooms/tents & rain flys/floor kits prior to purchasing the LL Bean model (with rain fly/floor). I have been a LL Bean customer for 40+ yrs. We are volunteers for the National Park Service (NPS) & wanted an adjunct space to our Airstream trailer. This is it! I waited until we could test this before writing this Evaluation. Today, we are stationed @ Cape Hatteras LightStation, NC, where the winds in the light house gallery are 35 MPH & 60 MPH gusts. Winds in our nearby campsite are 30-40 MPH. The tent has sustained high winds, 5-6" of continual rain w/o leaks, & has been a great space now for 3 months. I added extra tent stakes & guy ropes w/knot fixers. I would not recommend the tent w/o purchasing the rain fly/floor. The more horizontal walls are unique & add room & deflect water. A great value!

We live near wet lands and cannot sit outside at night without the Woodland Screen House. This is our second purchase; the first one lasted 4 years. The tent goes up in mid-April and stays up until late in the fall. We have the tent on a wood platform and this serves as our outdoor dining and living area. The sun eventually made the material brittle, but after 4 years of spring to fall usage, I cannot complain. What llbean needs to sell is a 14x14 tarp that could be placed over the Woodland Screen House. The covering that is sold separately for the screen house has sides, which to me, diminishes the joy of sitting outside during a summer rain.

Rated 5 out of 5áby GinV Perfect day tent for keeping out the weather
Purchased the day tent and the rain fly. Set it up in the front yard to check it out and it was extremely easy. Looking forward to using it on our next camping trip. If you have been looking for a day tent that offers weather protection, this is the one for you.

Rated 5 out of 5áby IdahoCampers perfect for us
Sets up easily, plenty of space. The footprint is fairly large, which should be taken into account. We plan to use it for an outdoor room and storage when we camp in the RV.

I am a first time RV owner and 67. I retired a few months ago, bought an RV and after doing research, purchased this screen house and the all weather accompaniment for it. My daughter and I put it up the first time tonight on a very windy evening in the Florida Keys with a storm on the way. I am not saying it was a breeze LOL, But we did it and were able to enjoy a splendid evening with cheese and wine while watching the full moon over the Gulf.
I have have two Tibetan Terriers who absolutely adored the extra space. Running around inside the room and getting quite comfy. We made a few mistakes. but it was worth it. I will let you know how it weathers the in-coming storm. Pictures to follow.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Felixs13 Easy to set up
The first set up out of the box took about 30 minutes. I had to look at the picture of a set up tent for a minute in order to complete set up without further instructions - poles work almost by themselves.

I have had several screen houses. This is the only one I will ever have again. I bought wit the fly and canopy. It's tall enough for this 6 ft 3 guy, holds a picnic table, my camp kitchen and a small chair for me and the wifey. It keeps out the rain and everything stays nice and dry. My only complaint, I wish the roof was made of a lighter color. Gets kind of dark in here on an overcast day. Workmanship and suited for the task are top notch,

Rated 4 out of 5áby Oneofthetentgirlz Nice Quality, but a couple of reservations
This screen tent has nice, small mesh and good fabric. On its own, though, it has far less protected space than is helpful because the roof does not overhang the side walls. We ordered the floor/rainfly kit to go with it, but it did not fit properly, so the company is sending us a new one. The poles are sturdy and appear to be rustproof. Tie downs for the rainfly are adjustable buckles, which are good for setting up on sites that are not level. Even so, rain comes into the tent if the rainflap is up. I wish this were truly 10x10 of protected space. It was very expensive. We'll see how it does in the long run. I'm sure L.L.Bean will make good on its promises if it doesn't live up to its promises.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Glmunde Great camp screen.
After reading a lot of reviews we selected this for our camp outings to enjoy eating without bugs. What we could not determine from dimensions & comments is whether this would fit over the average size US Forest picnic table ... and it does. Although with many tables there is only 1' of space at one end to walk around; but we enjoy eating outside again. Seems to manage the wind, although we have not had it up in real gusty conditions; and if rain is a concern you will want the rain fly.

I use this screen house all the time while camping and I camp every month. It has held up in heavy winds and rain with no problem as long as you guy line it down properly and with the rain fly. I use it for my kitchen and can't be happier. I have owned a few other styles and brands and this is far better than all of them and roomier because the side walls are more cabin like. It has been used as a tent to sleep in when the weather is perfect and the view is just too beautiful to not have a 360 view. Buy the rain fly/floor separate. You will not be disappointed. I am buying another set to have for sitting inside when the bugs get the best of us. :)
