I own two of these for myself. One is the single Sportube for when I travel by myself to ski destinations. The other is the dual Sportube for when my wife or son accompanies me skiing. These are perfect for transportation on the airlines, secured to a rack on top of the car, or shipping to and from your destination via UPS. Secure and lockable storage for your skis.
I just bought the single for my son for his birthday, so he would quit borrowing mine for his ski trips without me. LL Bean had the BEST PRICE, BEST STOCK, and FAST, FREE SHIPPING. I bought it for his birthday and ended up giving it to him for Christmas, it got here so fast! My local store (which is a good ski shop) couldn't match LL Bean. That is why I have been shopping there for 35 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WayDownSouthInDixie Great protection for your skis!
I purchased the Sportube Single Ski Case to protect my son's new pair of K2 skis that he had to check for an airplane flight. The Sportube is solidly made and sturdy and holds a pair of skis and ski poles. It adjusts to fit the length of your skis. One end has wheels so you can pull it if you choose or there is a built-in handle midway for carrying. Other companies charge extra for the detachable padded pull handle, but it is included when you purchase it from LL Bean! Sportube's instructions are poor and difficult to understand so find an online video and view that instead. It also comes with a locking hasp but there is a TSA-approved lock available for purchase from Sportube.

We purchased the single tube version for our daughter based on our 3 year experience with the double version. The Sportube is both light & durable. It also easily adjusts to fit different length skis. We use ours with a TSA approved lock.
