When our designers saw a picture of a USA team member wearing an L.L.Bean fleece on the historic Mount Everest International Peace Climb in 1990, they knew they had to recreate it. Starting with the distinctive detailing they loved (the warm stand-up collar, classic chest pocket and contrast trim) our designers then redesigned it with super-plush, hi-pile polyester fleece. The result is our softest jacket ever, with just-right breathability, warmth, and adventurous spirit stitched right in.
