Course Description

There's something special about spending time fishing while floating on a beautiful body of water. Fishing out of a kayak allows you to sneak up on feeding fish in a way that you can't in a powerboat. And even if your fishing skills are a little rusty, our experienced guides will give you expert tips to have you catching fish in no time.

Our guides consider this waterway one of their home waters and have the inside scoop on which flies and lures are working best. They'll show you how to fish while kayaking, sharing tips on the best way to cast from a kayak and edge closer to honey holes where the biggest fish lurk. This is a great opportunity to hook and land these lunkers.

We'll provide all the fishing and paddling equipment you'll need, including fly-fishing tackle, kayaks, paddles, PFDs, etc. The trip averages three hours.

L.L.Bean does not usually cancel events due to inclement weather. However, we reserve the right to cancel an event at any time due to severe weather, low enrollment or other concerns. If L.L.Bean cancels your event, you will receive a full refund for the cost of your reservation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to weather conditions and your level of exertion.

†Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment, as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it's deemed unsuitable, we'll provide you with the necessary equipment.
