Course Description

Having your own dedicated coach is the most effective way to learn a new sport. Join us for a private canoeing lesson tailored to your needs. In a one-on-one environment, our expert instructors will perform a complete overview of your skills, helping identify challenges and providing technique refinements that will have you paddling more effectively in no time. They'll build upon your present skillset, adding advanced techniques for paddling straighter, faster and farther. They'll teach you simple tips on the best paddling strokes for canoeing, plus answer any questions you have about this exciting sport.

All necessary paddling equipment is provided. If you'd like to add more participants, spend more time with an instructor or build your own custom adventure, please call 1-888-270-2326. Price varies based on duration of lesson.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.

†Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it's deemed unsuitable, we will provide you with the necessary equipment.
