Adventure Week is a great place to meet new friends, try new outdoor activities and have exciting adventures you'll always remember. Our fun, friendly Registered Maine Guides will help you maneuver a paddle board, shoot clay pigeons and more.

Course Description

There's a new adventure every day at our Adventure Week. From our oceanside Paddling Center at Lower Flying Point on Casco Bay, we'll set out for new places to take you exploring. Our staff have found some favorites you're going to love. Whether it's canoeing the Androscoggin River, paddle boarding the maze of Ranged Pond, hiking Maine's mountains, learning archery at Fogg Farm, trying the ropes course or kayaking to ocean islands, you'll travel to special places and make new friends on memorable adventures.

Our counselors and instructors are experts in their field, having explored some of the most remote areas in Maine and around the world. Each day focuses on new outdoor skills to help kids gain competence and confidence in the outdoors.

Plus, there's always room in every day's schedule for some fun and games. And don't worry if you're new to outdoor adventure, our friendly guides will help you feel safe and secure while you decide how far to push your comfort zone.

Drop-off and pick-up is at the L.L.Bean Paddling Center on Lower Flying Point Road. We do offer optional round-trip bus transportation from our Flagship Store to camp for a minor fee. Please book your reservation first and then call 1-888-270-2326 to sign up your camper for bus transportation. The fee is $15 per week, space is limited.

All necessary outdoor equipment is provided.

L.L.Bean does not usually cancel events due to inclement weather. However, we reserve the right to cancel an event at any time due to severe weather, low enrollment or other concerns. If L.L.Bean cancels your event, you will receive a full refund for the cost of your reservation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.
