Grab your binoculars and come join us on this special guided tour to experience a real taste of coastal Maine and a new experience around every corner. With our expert guides, you'll explore a scenic three-mile-long tidal river, wind through marsh grasses and visit birding destinations only accessible by watercraft. Along the way, a Maine Audubon naturalist will share details and insights about the shorebirds spotted along the tour. Birds commonly observed on the Harraseeket River include American black duck, bald eagle, great blue heron and belted kingfisher.
The tour starts at Wolfe's Neck Farm and lasts about 4.5 hours. It will be conducted in recreational solo kayaks.
All necessary kayaking equipment is included.
