I bought this bag to go along with the sea washed messenger bag which is a FAVORITE of mine but a little big. It just arrived today and I LOVE all the pockets...pen pockets, interior zipper pockets, card holders and section dividers. The description doesn't begin to cover all of the features. This bag is smaller than my messenger bag,but I can still fit 4 water bottles, papers, my small purse and my lunch in it. You could easily fit a laptop in it although there is not a laptop divider. Lots of pockets that would fit an ereader. So glad I got this bag...the two go very well together. From my experience with the messenger bag, they are very durable yet soft enough to be comfortable. I am a mom, teacher and all around busy and I just love all the options I have with this bag.

I bought this bag to replace another I had bought recently that looked too much like a diaper bag. The reviews said this was heavy-it is not, but it looks nothing like the picture, which must be filled with paper to make it appear to stand by itself. It is very, very soft sided with no structure. I was very disappointed and, though I did try it out and liked the pockets, it will be going back this week to be replaced by a product from another company. Plus, it is just not worth the money, even if it were more structured.

I purchased this tote with the intent on using it as a diaper bag. I like using little fabric bags to keep everything organized, so the one large main pocket works perfect for me! The fabric is thick and durable and will hold up well through several kids. I love the vertical front zip, great for pacifiers, teethers and other quick grabs. If I could change one thing about the bag it would be the addition on side pockets like the guide bag has. Other then that I love it. I have always had a hard time finding a bag that feels durable, isn't super frilly or on the opposite to manly and didn't cost $250! This bag is it! I would highly reccomend it. Note: The bag itself IS heavy like other reviews have said, but in my opinion that's is due to the high quality material and hardware being using to make a quality product.

It is just the right size, and has TONS of room and special pockets for things. I don't feel the weight is an issue at all. Perfect for those of us who like a relaxed and natural bag for every little thing.....

I originally purchased this item at the store in Maine on my vacation last year. I was concerned with some of the reviews and wanted to see it in person before making the purchase. I fell in love with it immediately. Since then I have purchased 3 more for family members who use them daily. This is a great bag. Very durable. My Mom's only complaint is that it holds so much she wants to carry everything she owns! It is handy for traveling, and is a great all around tote. I highly recommend this item!

Love this bag. It's heavy, but canvas, so I expected that. I like the front compartment so you can organize your stuff. I wish the main compartment had a divider. It's such a big space and could use one. I love the color and durability of the bag. Will use for my frequent trips to NYC.

I have been using this bag as my everyday work bag. It is a great size and I can fit my laptop in it if I don't feel like using my larger bag.
I have also used this bag for family day trips and it is the perfect size. It fits a small lunchbox with snacks plus my camera and other essentials. I think this will become my go to bag for vacations.
I like the front pocket area, but I hate the front pocket latch. It is not easily or quickly latched so I do not use it. That is really my only complaint about the bag!

I liked the size and color of this bag. I am disappointed that the inside of the bag did not have more "pockets". It would be easier to organize and retrieve items instead of just "dumping" everthing in one big bag.

I wish that this bag had better pictures of the pockets. I had hoped it had credit card slots, but the description doesn't mention that. It does have them though and I am sharing a picture of that area (inside the front pocket below the clasp). The bag is pretty big. It holds my phone, keys, kindle, 4 diapers, a chance of clothes for my son, baby wipes, 2 coloring books and crayons and still has plenty more room.

this is an awesome bag. i have been looking for a canvas- style shoulder bag for sometime which i could use both at work and while on vacation. it is very functional, roomy and stylish.
i used it for a work trip recently and i had plenty of room for everything i needed to carry daily. the many pockets and compartments are great...they allowed me to divide up the different types of items i carried with me daily so it was easier to store and find things. i also loved the long shoulder strap, it allows my hands to be free to carry other stuff.
now i use it as my daily work bag and it is still doing an awesome job. i have room for all i carry daily (books, folders, notebooks) as well as a thermos of coffee and extra clothes.
