Rated 4 out of 5 by Mortemadsciuri Check sleeve length first
I'll give this blazer four stars because it's a good value for the price, especially on sale. The fabric is nice and the construction quality is respectable for the price range.
The blazer's main flaw is the fully stitched (but non-functional) buttonholes on the sleeves. Now, you might think faux-buttonholes are desirable because they make the jacket look more expensive. Perhaps. But they severely restrict the ability to shorten the sleeves, which is not a good thing on a ready-to-wear blazer. You can't remove a buttonhole without leaving an unsightly mark (or even a real hole), especially on this fabric. So the practical limit on shortening these sleeves is about 1/2 inch.
That might not be a problem if the unaltered sleeve length were appropriate for the jacket size. But manufacturers are cutting sleeves generously long these days (comically long in some cases) and expecting customers to shorten them to their individual sizes. That's not unreasonable?after all, it's easier to shorten sleeves than lengthen them?but it's inconsistent with factory-stitched buttonholes. The better approach would be to omit the buttonholes and let a tailor add them later, AFTER shortening the sleeves, if the customer really wants them.
Bottom line: Ask Bean the actual sleeve length of the size you're considering, then compare it to a properly fitting jacket in your closet. If the new blazer won't need the sleeves shortened by more than 1/2 inch, go for it.
Fit is a bit snug in the shoulders and chest, so if you're between sizes order up.

Bought this blazer for my husband who is very hard to buy for due to his size. He looked so good I made him wear it all evening. Also, the material is beautiful. It is true to size and even my picky husband is happy with it.

The material was very nice.Well made.
I returned both coats and did not reorder.
Very long time customer.
Was very disappointed in the bags being so dirty being delivered by UPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cashmere11 Finally, the sleeves aren't too long!
After just returning 3 other Bean sports coats for various reasons (mostly sleeves too long), I decided to use the credit for this coat. I ordered both colors in 44 reg. figuring I'd return the color I didn't like. Well, I'm keeping both, as there are so many different looks one can choose with this coat. You can dress it down with Khaki's/jeans or wear it with a shirt and tie. The fit is perfect for my 6 foot 180 lb. frame and the sleeves won't need to be altered!!! It has a very soft hand and is warm. I think I'll be able to wear it until Halloween by itself and till after Thanksgiving with a sweater. Been looking for this for a long time, finally found it!

I gave this (khaki ) to my 41 year young son.

Looks really good in fit and the color is good.
The fabric is very nice and much wear can be seen for this blazer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by UFGatorSEC Perfect for Paris, France, Spring
I ordered this jacket for traveling. I wanted a warm Navy sports coat that could be worn with jeans or Dress pants. I traveled to Paris, France, this May and needed a reliable jacket for all occasions in all kind of weather. This jacket proved to be the best choice.
The jacket arrived on time and date promised. I was very please with the quality and fit. Perfect for me. The jacket actually exceeded my expectations in almost every way.
I alternated wearing this jacket with another warm wool blazer in Paris. I was able to wear this jacket both day time with jeans or kakis or in the evening with dress pants. I found the jacket to be easy to care for in all regards.
I loved the zipper pocket inside left breast, for cell phone and credit cards. That extra bit of security was a joy to have will traveling. There are more than enough pockets to necessary travel items deemed essential while traveling.
I would not hesitate to recommend this blazer to all my friends.

I was looking forward to receiving these blazers but once I got them they wrinkle easily and do not look good when you wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by emandbu Really good blazer
I was a little concerned about color with this blazer, but decided on to take a chance and I really like it. I am blond and light skinned, so not all browns work and most models in pictures are not blond, not a good reference point for me. I was very pleased when I got the blazer. Its The color works very well for me and the quality is great. In some ways, the image does not do it justice. it is a soft camel color, maybe a bit more gold, and feels great on.
The fit is pretty standard from my perspective - I wear a 44 short, and I can usually wear things in 44 short pretty much off the rack and this was no exception. The sleeves are just about perfect for me, within 1/2 inch of my other jackets. The cloth is thick and warm, in fact a bit warmer than I normally like my jackets. Pockets are well constructed and I like the zippered one.
o Great color
o Warmer for autumn and mild winter
o Great coat for traveling
o The fit runs a little big in the belly. 44S != 44 fat
o This is a warm coat, don't count on it for summer
o Arrives pretty wrinkled - expect to get it pressed or cleaned
