Rated 5 out of 5 by CrabCreek great shoes
These shoes are comfortable and appear to be well made and durable. The size runs true, but the shoe is fairly roomy (width-wise), which I like.

Ordered 7.5 M. These feel a full size too long, and a size wide. The shoes are lightweight and appear well made, seem comfortable. If you order, order a half size smaller. I am returning the shoes.

Ordered my regular size and they fit perfect. Great for walking the dog, light hikes or just doing errands. Love them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PhoebeCB Seems to Run a Half Size Long/ Wide Toe Box
The wide width in these shoes is truly wide . They are comfortable and do not press on toes as the toe box is rounded, roomy and wide. These look well-made with sturdy durable soles, thick but still flexible. What I don't like about these shoes is the look of them - They look like clown shoes - runs big and really make your feet look larger. I don't know if I will reorder them in a smaller size or just return them for this reason. Too clunky looking .

by islanddaisy Finally found the perfect shoe
I am a 7.5 wide as measured by a podiatrist and these shoes fit me perfectly in that size. Finally, a wide that is truly a wide! My bunion is happy. You do need a mid-weight sock as the description states. I've even ordered the hiking boot now and am considering ordering a second pair of the shoes, just to have a clean pair to wear around the house. I walk my dogs daily in very rough conditions, so the pretty blue trim on my first pair is not looking so pretty anymore. (I've posted a photo of my shoe next to a wolf print) I go through a lot of sand and wet grass too and was pleased that the sand doesn't get in and my feet stay dry. The only problem was the laces in a normal bow won't stay tied, so I do an extra knot with the bow. A small problem when I can finally hike and realize I haven't thought about my feet in quite a while. The definition of a comfortable shoe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by INDEBTFOREVER Back on the trail again
I have tried on nine different pair of hiking boots this past month and none fit as well as this pair. I have one foot slightly longer and wider than the other and the little extra length and width of these shoes were perfect even wearing the Cresta lightweight socks I bought at the same time. I've worn them gardening and walking all day today and not a pinch. So hard to find a size 11 that fits; I'm a happy camper!

Love the color and the feel of these and hope to enjoy many walks in them. I would not agree with the reviewers who said they run long. I ordered my usual size and my toe was touching the end. I'm returning them for the next size up. Love that they come in WIDE!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sammysfarm I love these shoes!
Quality built and nice looking shoes! I tried them on and wore them around the house all day long and they were comfortable from the get go! They are somewhat long and wide but then that is coming from someone that has small feet and has to wear kids shoes most of the time. LL Bean just needs to make women's sizes 5 or 5 1/2 (or smaller) for people like me. I can't wait to go hiking in them. It really is a comfortable hiking shoe.

I have a wide foot and true to the reviews these shoes are wide.
Very comfortable and lots of room in the toe even with my wide feet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mollie29 Nice colors, not comfy enough for me
Sturdily made, nice colors, but for me... the padding that I need and have sought out in casual footwear was not there. The collar was too high for my ankles and rubbed uncomfortably. They seemed to rise mid-way between being a low-top and high top ankle fit. It looks like many love them, though.
