I had to return the skirt as there was a "ripple" in the fabric in the back, below the waist. The material is nice, though. I then ordered the Southport - very similar to this skirt - and it fits well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by olympicview my go to skirt (jeans)
In the summer instead of jeans I wear this skirt. I love the way it fits and it goes with everything. I like the pockets for my phone, etc. I want to buy another one so I hope they will continue to carry this. The material just keeps going wash after wash. It doesn't show the dirt either. I have a light khaki one that I have had for two years. I desperately need another one. Can't say enough good stuff about this skirt. I am in love with it.

This is a pretty little skirt in lovely muted colors. Wash on cold and let air dry, I've had no problems with the buttons. Feminine casual and Perfect for mild weather. Love the little pockets.
HELLO L L Bean, I'd like to buy more of this skirt. Will this skirt be back in 2014?

I absolutely love this skirt!! I own two of them. The only problem are the metal buttons falling off. It really isn't a big problem, because I use an extra sturdy thread (furniture fabric thread to be exact) to sew the buttons back on. I love the fabric of the skirt, it has a slight stretch to it. The skirt really looks very sporty and I get lots of compliments when wearing it. I do wish the length was a little longer. I did buy a size bigger, so I can wear the skirt and pull it below my belly button so I get a longer length. I would have given it 5 stars, but because of the buttons falling off, I gave it four stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SportymomVA My new favorite skirt
I love this skirt! I usually wear a 10 but ordered an 8 based on other reviews. Fit like a dream. Not too tight in the waist - no muffin top. The length was perfect for me -I'm 5'8"- and since it doesn't have shorts underneath, it can't be too short. Hits me above the knee about 2 inches. The fabric is nice and stretchy and I could easily do a deep knee bend with no trouble. I got the dusty olive which was exactly as pictured. I want to order another one!

This a great skirt and the fit is just right for my curvy pear shaped body. I do wish, however, that it was available in more colors ... black, gray, chocolate brown .....

Rated 4 out of 5 by arletta good for knocking around
Since I have found reviews from others so helpful, I decided to begin adding my own comments. I bought this skirt in both the khaki and olive colors. My usual size is a 12 and I am about 5'10". I have a terrible time finding pants and shorts that are long enough in the rise and that don't give me that muffin-top roll at the waist so I resort to wearing skirts in summer. This skirt has an easy fit at the waist and allows me to even tuck in a shirt comfortably. I really appreciate the fact that is doesn't have a kickpleat in back -- much more modest and age-appropriate. As a reference for length, the skirt hits me about an inch and a half above the knee. I am not a fan of drawstring waists, but since the waist is not elasticized the tie in front is not a major issue with how the skirt fits. Easy wash and wear; however, I never dry anything with cotton in the fabric list.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reviewer721 Cute comfortable skirt
Style is flattering -thx for not making too short. Bit of stretch makes it comfortable. Agree with Pittsburgh reviewer who mentioned buttons fall off quickly - my experience too. Love neutral colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PNWRain Nice fabric but the sizing is way off!
This skirt runs HUGE! I ordered a size 10 and the actual waist measurement on it is 33 inches, not 29 1/2 as it says on the size chart. I'm going to send it back and exchange it for a size 8, keeping my fingers crossed that it will be small enough!
