I just got these pants a few weeks ago and they're already favorites - everything I've gotten in workout pants that are twice the price. The fit is flattering but not too clingy, the pockets are small but still serviceable and the length is just right (I'm 5'4" and got the small) which is lovely because for some reason fitness pants always seem to be really long on me! Well done, LL Bean, these are fantastic pants.

I've been searching for sometime for new fitness pants with elastic or drawstring waist, lots of pockets, and a soft fabric which fits comfortably and doesn't slow me down while I'm exercising! I just love these pants! I bought a size Small/Regular which fits me beautifully at 5'5" and 130#. The waist is a bit large but the drawstring makes up for that. They're versatile, too, & can be worn in a variety of settings. The fabric itself drapes nicely & is not too light, nor too heavy, plus it's easy-care. I'd buy 2-3 more pairs if they were available in different colors. Love them!

The other reviews coaxed me to buy these fitness pants. The fit is beautiful and I can surely wear them even to dress up a bit, say with a smart jacket. They have a nice drape and excellent comfort. These are the pants to own for a basic wardrobe that will serve you for exercise, travel or out on the town. You won't be disappointed.

I don't like to take anything into the gym with me, so pockets are a must -- and very difficult to find. These pants have nice deep pockets, which I love. They are quite roomy (I could have easily ordered one size down), but that roominess makes it easy to move. I almost didn't order them because of the drawstring waistband, but that is a minor thing. In fact, I like it. The material is substantial, and the look is tailored enough that I can throw them on for a quick trip to the store without feeling sloppily dressed. My only regret is that I ordered only one pair. Please, LLB, don't redesign this pant ... they are perfection!

I am totally pleased with these pants. I have been looking for work out pants for quite a while and took a chance and ordered these. I could not have been more pleased! They fit perfectly and are the perfect size for me.

I just received these today. Put them on and don't think I want to wear anything else. I am 5'8" and overweight at 150 pounds. I normally would wear a medium, but since recently gaining weight ( and heading into size 12's) I thought the bottom area might be too snug for me. I like my pants loose in the back so I tried the large. At first I thought the large was not going to work as they looked very roomy, but after trying them on and seeing what a wonderful fabric they were, I decided I could live in them. AND with the drawstring tie they will fit well and be comfortable with a nice drape. You could almost get away with wearing these to a dressier event. I may order another pair in the medium, but I think the size large looks great and sliming since they don't hug all the wrong places!

I hesitated to order these because of the mixed reviews, however, I'm glad I went for it. These are wonderful. They fit me as they are advertised - a little low on the waist and drape nicely through the hips and legs. Length was also perfect. If there were other color choices, I would be buying more. As for the drawstring, it's in the description.

Ordered small, but it was too big, then ordered the XS, which fits perfectly. I am 5'3.5" and weigh 108 lbs. The fabric is soft and stretchy, but not too stretchy. Only "problem" is that tag says there is a zippered pocket, but I couldn't find it. Otherwise, these are very nice comfortable pants.

I usually wear a size 14, 150#, fall right between medium and large. I ordered a large. They were "generous" to say the least, and were more of a drawstring pant than an elastic waist pant. I could tell without trying them on they weren't going to work for me.

The info on the pants say that it "sits lower on the waist." I guess I should just stop trying to buy LLBean pants as they are always too high waisted. These, "lower on the waist" pants come up to just under my breasts. Also, the elastic in the waist is quite tight. I don't understand that as there is a drawstring. Would it be asking too much to put another inch in the elastic on the waist band? And the legs are so wide..... I think I could have worn another size down had the waist been 2.5 inches more in circumference as the hips and thighs were so ample. And I'm not crazy about the "pork chop" pockets, preferring side pockets with zips on this kind of pant. All that said, I was really disappointed that they did not work out because the fabric is heavenly, just what I wanted. So, my plea to LL Bean would be for you to make another pair of fitness pants with the exact same fabric, with side slit pockets with zipper close, narrow and straight legs, 2.5 inches lower rise and a more generous waist measurement.
