Great product. This one replaced an old LLBean robe that lasted 10 years.
In the months I've used it, it has shown no signs of wear. Feels stiff out of the bag but the first washing takes care of that.
You can't go wrong with this product.

received dark blue robe as an xmas present. after 2 months use, the color, elbows and seat are worn out, and threadbare.
I really liked the robe when I got it, heavy, thick and very comfortable in these cold Utah mornings.
My last robe, brand name omitted, lasted 6 years and the only the belt wore out.
This LL Bean robe was more expensive and wore out in 2 months. This is not the sort of quality that I've seen from Bean in the past. Very disappointed as the reviews for this go back over a year and detail the same problems I've had with it.
will be sending it back. Don't know how they handle their return policy. Will be interesting to see. Hope all goes well.

This robe fit my husband fine...a medium. It is a nice quality
terry, tho a bit on the heavy side, so also extra warm.
The blue is a nice shade, and the pockets are useful for
i-phone, or whatever. The length of this worked out for
my husband who is 5'6"...below the knee a few inches.
He will use this after showers, lounging, and relaxing.

the description about this robe says its soft and thick. and i am disappointed about that description this is not thick i have T-shirts that are thicker then this. The softness i can not comment on because this is still new.
If this is the quality that ll bean is going for then shame on them. their testers should have a proof reader to cross reference the descriptions to the product.
Hope this is not the beginning of shotty products. I am going to keep this robe for the summer hopefully it will last that long. Oh ya I know you can return all products for a full refund or exchange, but i already wasted my time and to return this will be more wasted time. I shouldn't have to do that for a poor description. well see how this holds up in the warmer months

Just love this hard to find comfy- as advertised Turkish terry cloth bath robe. The quality is great and the size is ample.

I do not recommend this terry cloth robe. Little threads peel off of it and now a big hole has formed. Washing it makes it worse! I buy from LLBean a lot and was surprised at this bad quality.

This is the second time I have purchased this robe as Christmas gifts for my husband. The first one simply wore out from much use. Both times I ordered an XL however this last time he noticed a substantial difference in the size. This one is too small even though the first one, which he still has, fits very well. I am not happy about having to now pay shipping from Canada to return the item. I would have expected more consistency in the size.

Ordered the XXL robe as I AM 6'4 275 and I washed the robe
BEFORE using it and it turned out GREAT . Used low heat/damp dry for 30 minutes then went to medium heat for 15 minutes. Then put it in air fluff for 45 minutes. Then hung it up to dry -air out. My robe didn't experience any threading problems, feels luxurious to the touch. This is not my first turkish cotton product either. You must alternate the heat or keep it on low heat /air fluff. OR air dry these garments to make them last a long time. FITS GOOD and with 'proper care' should last a long time. Will update this next year...
