Rated 3 out of 5 by Lifetouch Ok but not ok..
This jacket is very likable for its cozy appearance and warmth. I am 5 ft 150 lb. Pet M fit me ok. I didn't mind looking like a giant plush toy in brown color. However I found it too short for my taste. I wished the arms were tad bit shorter for petite size or at least bit narrower at wrist somehow. The hood is really nice and usable. The ribbon accent looks feminine and cute bordering the zippers but it is quite annoying, stiff and scratchy around neck. It bothered me a lot. I found the shoulders and chest quite restricting (if this wasn't the case, I would have kept the jacket in spite of other issues I had). I got this jacket at a steal price but I am going to send it back (sadly). I will recommend it to a friend but will warn of all the things I mentioned. I love LLB and I will continue shopping here.

This coat is so pretty, plush and cozy. I'm 5'4", about 130lbs and am not flat chested, but like the fit of the XS surprisingly. Not sure if they all run the same, and mine definitely doesn't fit 'roomy', more 'snug', but I love this coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by onlineshopperSE Nice jacket, but undecided
I wanted a lightweight but warm packable jacket with a hood for a fall trip, so I ordered the mountain fleece in deep raspberry. I love pinks, but the color is brighter and not as soft in tone as it appeared online. I think the coffee might be better, but it wasn't available in my size. The jacket does seem warm for its weight, with some wind protection, and the hood fits well. Not sure how water-resistant it will be. The pockets are deep enough to be good hand warmers. The hood isn't adjustable and the pockets don't zip, but they're good. There are no inside pockets, which would be a nice addition.
Like the previous review, I'm unsure if I like the nubby-pile fleece. It's soft enough, but I'd prefer a smoother pile. The hood, neckline, wrists, and upper back are lined with a very smooth gray fleece, and there is a narrow storm flap of the same under the zipper. I like the gray/raspberry print zipper trim, but on some of the color selections the highly contrasting trim would limit your wardrobe choices.
I usually wear petites in L or XL, and ordered XL. The L wouldn't have given me enough room for layers underneath. Sleeve length and overall length are good, just as shown. No issues with fit in the larger size.
I am undecided whether this jacket is any better for travel than some others I already have. It's a little bulky for packing, and I'm not sure about the bright color and nubby texture. If the coffee color becomes available in my size, I might exchange for that. The jacket is accurately described on line if you like the look.

I've ordered XS petite (Lapis Slate color) for my daughter, who is a big fan of blue-green shades. She is 5'4" 100# and jacket fits exactly like on model photo, but she didn't like the color of hood lining and wasn't excited about fabric (somebody compared it to the staffed animal look, its not so bad, but kinda reminds of one...). I would keep it for myself, bc its warm and very comfortable, but green doesn't complement me at all. Thanks to great LL Bean return policy, we exchanged these one for Mountain Laurel Fleece Jacket, same size, teal blue color. She loves it! Its much more fitted, but fabric has amazing soft filling, bright color and she wears it all time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BeautyLover Nice but a bit too short
This jacket is really cute, especially the trim. The large petite fit me perfectly through the shoulders and arms. Unfortunately, I decided to send it back because I found the jacket to be too short. Most of my tops would have stuck out below the jacket.

Sometimes I'm just astounded by the fantastic deals offered by LLBean and this jacket is one of those deals!! It had been on my wishlist for a while when it popped up in a 2-a-day sale at a price not to be denied!!!!!!!
I ordered the XS petite. It works for me at 5'2" 112lbs. When it arrived yesterday I was wearing a comfort fleece quarter-zip and excitedly tried on my new jacket over the fleece top. That was a bit too much bulk in my opinion although there was room for the fleece top under the jacket. It just seemed to limit my movement too much. It works great over a long-sleeved tee though and the sleeves are the same warm fleece as the body of the jacket.
Today is one of our "cold" days--50 degrees and cloudy, so it feels colder than 50. I wore it over a sleeveless top and long-sleeved tee to take a walk and I was very comfortable. The hand-warmer pockets are great for just that.
The only thing that is a problem is (as others have noted) the decorative taping at the neck is scratchy if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. Turtlenecks aren't flattering on me so I resorted to a scarf tucked into the neck of the jacket. If the lovely-but-scratchy tape were replaced at the neck with something like the soft velour tape in some of the other Bean items I have, this would be a five-star jacket for me.

One of my best purchases from LL Bean. Petite Med gives me enough room to wear a sweater underneath but also looks fine without the extra layers. Washes well. Money well spent

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeansRegular Super Snuggly Fleece
This is my second overall top everyday fleece--Comfort Fleece Hoodies still are the tops on my list and I have zillions of those. I have three Mountain Fleece Hooded Jackets in Lapis, Raspberry and Purple. These colors are beautiful and muted so they function more as neutrals and combine wonderfully with many outfits that I have. The outside fleece is thick and very fluffy, and the linings are soft and warm. The 300 level fleece is very warm and snuggly, with a good bit of windproof and water-resistant qualities. They function great for inside on cold winter days, as we have been keeping the heat set at or below 65. The hood fits well and stays on my head--even allows me to tuck in my long hair. The zippers are YKK and are appropriately sized and work great. The pockets are of adequate size for hands or small set of keys, but could not hold anything larger.
I have not washed any of them yet, but do not forsee any problem, as I have owned many LLBean fleece of all thicknesses and have had almost no problems with washing any of them. I do only briefly machine dry my fleece (remember, no fabric softener sheets or liquid) to de-lint them, then hang to dry for the remainder. I have not had any shrinkage in fleece using that technique.
I highly recommend these hoodies. They do run a bit generous in size, so if you are on the border between 2 sizes, you may be able to size down. You will enjoy the warmth and style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ELATeach Surprised by size
I ordered this in a petite small, as I'm 5'2" and wear anywhere from a size 4 to a size 8. When I put it on - over a base layer and a light weight sweater - it was surprisingly large. However the sleeves and body were very short. I've just exchanged it for a regular extra small, hoping the body is narrower and the sleeves longer. Bummed I will have to wait as I think I'll love this jacket's weight and style!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CoolChick Excellent, especially for the price!
I got this on the 2 a day markdown. I had been thinking about it but the special price got me to move. Glad I did. It's like a warm cuddly blanket and perfect for the late winter/early spring. I got the black coffee because I wanted a neutral. On my monitor the lining looked more coral red and I was hoping it would arrive that way, but no -its a dark red, still pretty, just not as snappy as the coral would be! I love it though and will wear this a lot.
