The Dakota™ is the first midpriced handheld GPS unit with a touch-screen interface. With tough waterproof construction and a highly accurate receiver, it's made to handle whatever outdoor adventure you send its way. Detailed base map includes major features such as roads, rivers, trails and more. 850 MB of internal memory allows you to load additional maps. MicroSD card slot lets you use 1 to 2 GB cards to load detailed maps from Garmin's map series (maps sold separately). Includes highly accurate barometric altimeter and electronic compass. Runs up to 20 hours on two AA batteries, included.
