We bought two of these for our girls (ages 4 and 7) for winter because our sled isn't ideal for snowy surfaces. The tubes work GREAT on any type of surface and the kids love them. They were so great I'm thinking of getting two more for my niece and nephew next Christmas. Highly recommend!!

We are very pleased with the quality of this tube. We had just one evening of use thus far, but are confident that the durability will be excellent and we'll get several seasons of use from it. The cushioned ride is much appreciated on our 45 and 50 year old backs. The regular size fits our 150+ lb frames, but I can see where someone appreciably larger would benefit from having the extra large size. The regular size also works fine for our 7 year old son. It is light enough and slides well enough by the strap that he can get it back up the hill without too much trouble.

I bought this snow tube for my daughter, who generally does not enjoy outdoor winter activities. She tried it out after our last snowfall, and loved it. The slick hard plastic bottom glides easily (and quickly!) over fresh powder and crustier snow. It is a little difficult (or even impossible) to steer, so I recommend it for older children, or with adult supervision for younger, more inexperienced riders on an unobstructed course. The attractive nylon cover fits nicely over the inner tube. All in all, a nice product!

Pricey but built well. Friends had these at a recent 4H sledding party and they withstood a long day of abuse by teenagers. Handles and tow strap and secure and handy. Went home and order 2 for our kids!

This is the best snow tube It is admittedly overpriced, but outside of that... It is super fast and you don't feel the bumps. Love it!

We purchased Sonic snow tubes for two of our grandchildren. My daughter told me that the this tube went faster and farther than any of the other tubes. We were impressed with the quality of this product. Next Christmas, two more grandchildren will be receiving the same gift.

After exploding 2 snow tubes on bitterly cold days that made the plastic brittle, I decided it was high time that I spring for a sturdy LLBean version that could withstand whatever I might throw at it. I'm closer to 50 than I care to admit, but I'm young at heart and love a good run down a steeper hill and this does the trick! I wish I had done this sooner. I resisted because I can be cheap, but the reality is that I'd have saved myself money and grief by springing for this sooner. This is a genuine inner tube, inflates with a compressor or bike pump, but it is protected by a hard plastic saucer beneath and a sturdy fabric cover with handles plus a strap for dragging it up the hill. I have found the strap gets in the way a bit on the ride downhill if I'm not careful to tuck it away. And a part of me wishes I'd purchased the larger version to provide a bigger base, but I haven't had any problems with the smaller one. This thing moves, esp. once a run or two has created a path for you! Buy a Sonic Snow Tube and you won't have to worry about it failing you on your first run of the day or in cold weather. If you have kids, consider it an investment and know you won't need to replace it every year.
And as always, great delivery service. It arrived faster than anticipated, in time for Nemo!

I just bought several more of these wonderful snow tubes for my other grand-children. The older two have shared how much they love theirs that I gave them and how well they work! Plus - the 13 year old said she always feels safe: so much better than a dish or traditional type sled. They have the best rides on the hill! Thanks for another great product.
