My husband has been wearing these jeans for years even in his early years I might add and he absolutely loves these jeans. we have even purchased as gifts for friends. I would recommend over any other jeans out there. they are by far heavier and more durable than any other jeans by far, and trust me we have compared and there is no comparison. They have our vote! I buy the actual size and never have had a problem with size.

Rated 5 out of 5áby makpalen good fit and they are warm
the fleece provides more warmth than the flannel lined jeans. the classic fit is for slim folks but it does look better than the comfort fit IMHO. these jeans are perfect for being outside in sub freezing weather. the ll bean products are higher quality than most.

i am growing older (and wider, unfortunately)but I developed R.A. and the cold now hurts. I have been using these jeans and the relief that they provide has been remarkable.I am able to move in comfort due the superior warmth and fit. Be nice to yourself, you deserve a break, and try a pair. You will not be sorry you did. all my best .

Rated 4 out of 5áby Ruggles1 He loves lined pants
I bought 2 pair of these pants for my husband in 2 different sizes. I bought his usual size of 38X32 and one 40X32 so he could feel safe putting them in the dryer. I'm glad I bought to two sizes. They run a little small. The 38 would have been wearable but uncomfortable. The 40's are perfect with just a little extra room for shrinkage in the dryer. I'll be trading in the 38's for 40's as he wants all the lined pants he can get. One thing I noticed is they fit without looking like he's added extra pounds. He just loves Beans lined jeans.

I purchased these for my husband and he loves the comfort and appearance. Great for NW winter wear. I might have to get another pair for laundry day.

I purchased my husband's first pair of fleeced-lined double L jeans 20 years ago. He wore them every time he had to do outside work in the cold, and loved them! I bought him another pair for this Christmas and he happily exclaimed, "I love that they did not change a thing about these jeans, they feel exactly like my old pair that I love!" I also purchased my son in-law a pair of the fleece lined jeans, I'm sure he will love them just as much as my husband does. In 20 years I will purchase my son in-law another pair of the fleece lined jeans!

It's been colder here lately, and I don't have anything like these to wear outside. I got them just two days after ordering! Great! Thank you. They fit fine and the quality couldn't be better. I'll be back.

Rated 5 out of 5áby taljit LL Bean Jeans fit me the best
This is my third pair of Beans lined jeans. First pair is all faded but still comfortable and warm. And I love the fact that I can order odd number (inches) waist and inseam and hence the fit. Plus I never had any problems with my orders.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Gojira Wanted something warmer than flannel lined
I have had LL Bean flannel lined jeans and chinos for years and wear them so much they are just starting to get a bit frayed. I was hoping that the fleece lined Double L jeans would be warmer. They are considerably warmer, very thick and comfortable.
I'm 5' 9", 182 lbs., with an athletic build. I usually wear a 32/33" waist depending on the manufacturer and 30" inseam. My thighs are fairly big so the classic cut was right for me. I got these in a 33" waist X 32" inseam so that when I ride my motorcycle they go over the boots and the wind doesn't push them up. That worked as I had hoped (they fit perfect) and by combining the jeans with an LL Bean merino wool base layer legging I can now ride comfortably in temps down to the mid forties. I roll up a cuff when I'm not riding the bike. These are fairly high waisted which I appreciate for cold weather, especially on a bike. Getting that chill down your back is no fun.
I got the blue jeans first and liked them so much I ordered the tan colored ones.
