I have had several pairs of these in the women's version and they have been durable, even walking in them outside at times, so I hope they hold up as well for him. I like the rawhide laces as opposed to the leather ones on the women's style. By the way, he has a narrow food and was satisfied with the fit. Props to L.L. for another fine product. May 29, 2013

As a retiree I wear them most everyday all year long, at home or outside in the garden in the summer. They are well made and the sole is very difficult to wear out. I returned them to Bean's and as there were none available at the store to try on. I ordered the next larger size, when received the were too long and also tight. I will be returning them also. I think the sizing is not available to fit my feet anymore. Hopefully I can find other bean slippers that I like. May 9, 2013
