Excellent construction. It came with wrong pole but called company and was replaced in two days with no problem. We love this product.

This hammock stand was extremely easy for one 60+ woman to snap together, and is holding a Pawley's Island hammock admirably. It even withstood initial enthusiasm of a hyperactive 9-year-old (who had to be taught it is NOT A SWING). Wonderful way to enjoy our hammock in the breeze without damaging any of our trees! Only problem was that it was overly heavy for the shipping box, which had been repaired and re-taped before we received it.

The box is heavy, so we had to remove the poles one by one and bring them to the yard. However, assembly took about 3 minutes, and it will clearly be easy to take apart for winter storage. It is also very easy to move once it is assembled if you have 2 people (despite it being hard to move in the box). We will have to see how long it lasts, but we are pleased with it so far!

I am so happy with this hammock stand. I looked for quite awhile on the internet trying to decide what to get. Moving to a new house with no trees that will work and mutiple decks I definitely needed a stand. I first thought I would purchase a wooden one but many reviews said they are quite large and figuring out the correct dimensions to fit my hammock was confusing. Then one day it dawned on me that I had purchased my hammock a few years ago from LLBean so why not go directly to them because their stand would have to work perfectly for their hammock. The hammock stand was delivered very quickly, set up in seconds, looks terrific, great color and is working beautifully. I could not be more pleased.

I bought this stand (and the quilted hammock) for my husband's birthday. It took minutes to assemble and he was lying in the hammock ("I'm in heaven!") under our trees in less than 30 minutes. The stand is heavy, well constructed, and will disassemble easily for winter storage.

This stand is a MADE IN U.S.A.!! Terrific!
It arrived on June 30, thick steel frame and very sturdy. On July 1, wind gusts of 90-100 mph hit our locale. Our yard had layers of large tree limbs. I knew once we found the stand, it'd be bent and unuseable.
Several hours later, we uncovered the stand - not a scratch, not a ding, not any paint off, no caps missing; even the hooks left no scratch mark on the support.

The hammock stand is sturdy and the easiest to assemble that one could want. The best part is it will be easy to disassemble in the fall so that it takes up little space to store over the winter.

This took me less than 5 minutes to set-up and within minutes, I was already using the hammock. I bought this for my husband for his birthday and we got the XL hammock and this was perfect. He is 6'4 and can comfortably lay down and feel supported. We have been leaving the stand in the rain and it still looks great!
