Jetboil Cooking Systems

Dear Valued L.L.Bean Customer,

Our records show you purchased or received the Jetboil Personal Cooking System PCS (stock number GBD4) or Group Cooking System GCS (stock number GBD6) sold by L.L.Bean between July 2008 and February 2009. The manufacturer, Jetboil, has advised that some units utilizing the new B style valve, which was used on units sold since July 2008, have leaked gas between the valve and the fuel canister, creating a possible ignition hazard. In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Jetboil is voluntarily recalling all PCS and GCS systems utilizing this B style valve. For your safety, please immediately stop using your Jetboil Cooking System.

If you have the affected product, please call L.L.Bean at 800-555-9717 for return packaging and mailing instructions.
