IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL
Raised Insta-Bed

Dear Valued L.L.Bean Customer,

Our records show you purchased or received the L.L.Bean Raised Insta-Bed between July 2007 and October 2007. The manufacturer, The Wenzel Company, is voluntarily recalling-for-retrofit the car charger included with this Insta-Bed in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. The rechargeable battery for the internal pump should not be connected to a car adapter while the car’s engine is running. Please, immediately stop using the car charger received with your Raised Insta-Bed. If the car charger is plugged in while the car is running, the battery-charging unit could overheat and burst. This could cause injuries to the user. This Insta-Bed was sold as L.L.Bean Catalog Number 55780 and corresponding Wenzel Model Numbers 822628 and 822629; the latter numbers can be found on the product packaging.

WARNING: Burn Hazard: Do not use any chargers other than the wall charger provided with this product. Failure to heed this warning could result in personal injury and/or damage to the product.
