The magnet could also damage a laptop's hard drive, your CDs or other items with digital memory recordings.
Although no incidents or injuries have been reported to date, L.L.Bean is voluntarily working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to issue this important safety alert.
