Stanley Lake is skirted by the spectacular Sawtooth Mountains.

Spring is the best time to ride or hike on this 26-mile trail in the Sawtooth Mountains. The area is administered by both the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service.

There are wildflowers and aspen, Douglas fir and sagebrush along the trail.

Camping is not recommended along the trail. There are primitive sites on East Fork Road and Trail Creek Road.
