Trout-filled lakes, renowned whitewater rivers including the Salmon, ski areas and 1,600 miles of trails offer a wide variety of recreation opportunities. The Boise, South Fork of the Payette, Salmon and Big Wood Rivers provide fishing, boating and photographic opportunities. The Sawtooth, White Cloud, Boulder, Pioneer and Smoky mountain ranges attract hikers and backpacking trekkers to this world-famous Sun Valley country.
