Punderson State Park is among Ohio's most popular destinations for outdoor recreation and is situated near the fourth-largest Amish community in the United States.
The park's centerpiece is luxurious Punderson Manor, a sprawling Tudor-style resort and conference center with an indoor pool.
Visitors hike 14 miles of trails that double as cross-country ski routes.
The park provides access to three lakes, including Lake Punderson, where visitors may canoe, swim, fish or motor. The lake is stocked with trout, bluegill and bass.
A campground offers 194 sites with electricity on ground once occupied by a Native American village. Five sites have hook-ups.
Located in the heart of Ohio's snow belt, the 846-acre park has extensive winter activities, including snowmobiling, snowshoeing and dogsledding. Downhill skiing is available nearby.
