Located on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, this park is one of the most scenic in the state. Hikers and campers enjoy Cloudland Canyon's ridges and valleys, which offer rugged geology and beautiful vistas. The park straddles a deep gorge cut into the mountain by Sitton Gulch Creek. Visitors can hike the 4.5-mile West Rim and Waterfalls Trail and backpack on a two-mile backcountry trail. Visitors can also picnic and camp. There are tent, RV and trailer sites, walk-in campsites, cottages and backcountry sites. Entry to the park is free on Wednesdays.
