Every season provides a new recreational activity at Governor Dodge State Park, the crown gem of Wisconsin's state park system.

Two lakes offer excellent fishing and boating. There are challenging off-road bicycle trails, extensive camping opportunities and a honeycomb of hiking paths and bridle trails. And those are just summer activities.

In winter, the lake is a popular destination for ice fishing. Nearly 18 miles of ski trails are marked and groomed. Twenty campsites are available for winter camping.

The landscape is no less diverse. Untouched by the glacial scourge that carved much of the surrounding countryside, the park contains sandstone bluffs that date back 450 million years.

The bluffs contain important geological and archaeological records and provide beautiful views of the lakes and valleys below.
