Entry Fee Charged

Forillon National Park is located at the farthest reach of the Gaspé Peninsula. Its majestic landscapes cover a 94-square-mile region carved out of cliffs and mountains.

Forillon is home to many colonies of seabirds and unique arctic alpine plants. You may spot foxes, moose, black bears, beavers and porcupines.

You can camp in coastal sites, hike along panoramic trails, take cruises to watch seabirds, seals and whales, or go mountain biking.

If you get up before sunrise, you can go to Bon Ami Cape and wait for dawn to illuminate the cliffs.

The interpretive center offers several interpretive activities where you can see sea urchins, starfish, lobsters and other sea creatures.

Within the park, the Grande-Grave Heritage Site depicts the way of life of fishing families.

In the park, 367 semi-serviced campsites are available. A group campground and three unserviced campgrounds in the backcountry are also available.

The interpretive trail Prelude to Forillon has been adapted for visitors with physical and visual disabilities.

Winter camping occurs at the Petit-Gaspé group campground in the Southern Sector. It is about 1.5 miles from the parking area and can be reached on snowshoes or skis along an unmarked trail. Registration is required for winter camping.
