Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park is best known for its unique combination of ancient redwoods and spectacularly scenic coastline.

Hiking trails wander through the forest and down to the sea, including the exceptional Damnation Creek Trail. Activities at this 31,168-acre park include hiking, fishing and horseback riding.

The 145-site Mill Creek campground is in a grove of redwoods with a thick ground cover of ferns and unique native plants. The campground is closed from October to April.
