Have you always wanted to try fly fishing but didn't know where to start? This half-day course is the place to begin. Our expert instructors will teach you the fundamentals at Fogg Farm in Freeport, Maine, or in Columbia, Maryland. Both states are recognized as premier fishing destinations. From spacious lawns and casting pools to a picture-perfect lake setting, you'll enjoy learning the art of angling.
Itinerary
In a fun and relaxed atmosphere, our skilled instructors will introduce you to the basics of the exciting sport of fly fishing. You'll practice the four-part cast, false cast and roll cast. Stripping and shooting line will be explained and you'll learn to tie basic fishing knots. Does not include fishing time on the water.
