Fly-Fishing Essentials III: Half-Day Distance and Advanced Casting Techniques

Learn the advanced-casting techniques that will add distance to your casts so you can get your fly to the fishwherever they are. This is the ideal course for the angler looking to increase accuracy and delicacy when trout fishing and to increase distance for saltwater species, such as striped bass, tarpon and bonefish. It's also an excellent way to prepare for your next fishing trip to the tropics.
Itinerary
Skills taught include double hauling and distance casting. You'll also work on accuracy and slack-line casting for trout. Techniques will be taught for coping with headwinds, crosswinds and other environmental factors.
Fee: $95
Prerequisite: Fly Fishing Essentials I or comparable experience.
