Itinerary

The first day's lessons will focus on extensive discussion of casting mechanics and includes casting-error analysis and correction. The class will review videos of each participant performing the critical casts on the performance test, a valuable learning tool. You'll practice tight-loop false casting, tailing loops on demand, the double-haul, a 75-foot cast and you'll prepare for the written and oral portions of the FFF test.

Day two provides a thorough exploration of effective teaching techniques. Your instructor will help you understand different learning styles and prepare lesson plans for the four-part cast, roll cast and more. You'll also learn how to demonstrate a cast and analyze casting errors.
