A small-sized version of our archive 1934 Zipper Duffle, this rugged leather-bottom duffle is made of waxed canvas with suede and oiled leather trim. Durable double leather handles, detachable shoulder strap. Top zip closure runs the length of the bag. One interior zip pocket. Fully lined in cotton canvas. Measures 8½"H x 16"W x 7¾"D. Imported.

I was hoping to use it as an upscale gym bag, but it was too small to fit my sneakers. It looked more like a purse that a duffle bag. Maybe I'll try the medium. February 15, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by ShortShopper44 Great Bag! This is a great LL Bean bag. It is a little big for "small" but still awesome. I got the Kindling color and love it. It may be a little big for everyday use unless you really don't mind carrying bags on the bigger side. But as a tote or travel bag, you are good to go! It fit my Nook Color, yarn, crochet project, papers and magazine with no problem! Plus, I still had extra room. The waxed cotton canvas is nice. I don't feel like I need to be so careful with this bag as with others that are leather or specialty. As I get older, this is a deciding factor in a lot of what I purchase now. It is too hard to worry about ruining a bag, shoe or piece of clothing when you are a mom and doing activities, errands or just having fun outdoors or travelling. LL Bean is my go to place now for pretty much everything! Awesome service and quick delivery. Yes, some items are costly. Most everything that I have ordered though has been worth every penny. You pay for the great service and items that will hopefully last a long time! Way better than buying something that is less expensive but doesn't last nearly as long. January 4, 2012

Roomy and infinitely practical, except that there is no attachment for keys inside, as in other LLBean bags which I have. If there were such an attachment, this bag would certainly rate 5 stars, September 8, 2011
