love the color, won't show dirt. Will last forever, bought it as a summer bag to throw my wallet and stuff in! Can go to the beach or store, since it is canvas it is heavy but with heavy comes durable

I bought this for my daughter for a Christmas gift and she loved it. Very well made and a really nice size. She has found many uses for it. Another great LLBean product!

I own several LLBean totes and this one is my favorite! LOVE the linen look canvas! I ordered the medium size and it is perfect for my knitting. It has a really cute plaid fabric lining with a zippered pocket. The fabric is super sturdy so it stands up on it's own and will definitely last forever. I'm planning on ordering the large size to use as a weekend travel bag.

I loved the "saltwash green/tan" color and the size was exactly right. The larger size would have been way too big. Unfortunately, the top didn't zip close and I don't care for bags that allow someone to "help themselves" to the contents. I sent it back.

I use this bag for running errands around town. I toss in everything that needs to go with me and come home with it ... sometimes full, sometimes empty depending on the errands but it always does the job and is very nice looking. The canvas is very thick and has enough body to stand up on its own yet it does not seem overly rigid. Quite versatile. I could take it anywhere from a business casual meeting to the beach. The medium size is not huge so won't hold very big items or packages but is great for anything slightly larger than a ring binder or smaller. The bag's depth allows it to hold quite a bit. I expect the rugged material to last for years and the workmanship appears to be excellent - just as you would expect from LL Bean. Design notes: I got the khaki color and the plaid lining has a somewhat feminine color scheme. If future editions had a more neutral color lining, this bag would also be attractive for men. The handle is too short for me to put over my shoulder.

This is the first purse that allows me to find all my things immediately. The handle is a big wider than I expected but not bad. Great purse for everyday.

I absolutely LOVE this bag! I was searching for the perfect teacher tote that would last and look extremely cute. I ordered the medium Atlantic red and use it for carrying books, binders, iPad, etc. to school. The plaid on the inside is cute and both the inside and outside pocket are useful for storing keys, cell phone, etc. Although it is very sturdy and durable, I wish the straps were longer so I could carry it on my shoulder. I'm putting the large sized version on my wish list for sure!
