Mountain Light XT Tent

Hi. I'm Kevin from L.L.Bean's product development team. The Mountain Light XT is our premier lightweight tent. It has plenty of room for you and your gear, while keeping the weight low. The two-person weighs less than 5 pounds, and the three-person version comes in at a little over 5½ pounds.

You would use the Mountain Light for backpacking, kayak camping and bicycle touring, or even for car camping if you want a tent that's lightweight and easy to set up. A lightweight, super-strong aluminum frame has a unique hub design that makes set up super fast, and easy.

The weatherproof, full-coverage fly will keep you dry in even the worst downpours. Two roomy vestibules provide plenty of dry storage space for your backpacks and other gear. If anything gets wet and muddy, you can just keep it in a vestibule so your sleeping area stays nice and dry. Vestibule doors can be rolled back to let the air in when the weather is nice. The tent body is made from bug-proof, No-See-Um mesh that allows for excellent ventilation.

On clear nights, you can remove the fly and have a great view of the stars, while keeping bugs outside where they belong. The tent has two large doors so you don't have to crawl over your partner's sleeping bag to get into the tent. Like all L.L.Bean tents, the Mountain Light XT is designed to be dry, simple and strong. It will keep you dry in even the nastiest rainstorms, and you can set it up in minutes. And, best of all, it will last for years of camping fun.
