LLBean's description doesn't inform you that the fabric is sheer. You should plan accordingly for sizing. You will need to wear something underneath to cover yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jeri2 Navy and White Dot
Purchased the navy with white dots. Very nice color. Unfortunately size is off and fabric itches. I am 5'9", 140 lbs, fairly broad shoulders, 36B, not small boned. Medium fits like a sack, large all over. But sleeve length and overall length of shirt is good. Afraid small will be too short so not trying. If you are similar build, the Signature line has worked well for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Malamute Pink Lily is very pretty
Purchased Pink Lily in Large. Quality workmanship, and it truly doesn't wrinkle. Used it to travel and you can wear it right out of the suitcase. Nicely tailored for shape, but doesn't cling.
Material is fairly stiff - I suppose it has something to do with the wrinkle free coating, but it is not uncomfortable. The Pink Lily color is very pretty - not pink, not orange.

Rated 4 out of 5 by grandmaofAanl Lovely but not for me
Per LL Bean's usual standards, this is a lovely shirt, fabric, construction and style is excellent. It just won't work for me since the neckline is a little lower than I like. The color is a true navy and would look great with navy pants. I normally wear a Medium in shirts that are described as "slightly fitted" and this shirt is true to size. I wanted to love it but sadly it is going back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by njhpetite Oxford Shirt Navy and White Check XS Petite
Ordered Navy checked NO COLLAR oxford shirt. I'm 5ft tall and normally wear petite XS, S or size 4P. Top fits true to size, sleeve length is great, length hits me between mid to low hip. Top is slightly tailored and fits great. Top is very comfortable, V neckline is attractive and not too low cut. According to LL Bean size chart for chest size, I boarder closer to a size S petite. However size XS petite fit perfect thru chest area and other items I'v purchased from LL Bean petite XS fit great. Front covered button placket is stitched horizontally between each button hole, do not find stitches to be unattractive but does make buttoning slightly difficult. Really like shirt and would recommend, just wish covered button placket was designed without horizontal stitching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lafalot Great shirt for work or with jeans
This shirt fits well and I love the banded collar . Looks great for work with a jacket or sweater and can be casual worn with jeans. I bought the white and the blue dot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by artistgram Quality disappointing
I ordered because liked the style with banded collar, V neckline, long sleeves and navy checked, no iron fabric. Small petite fit well except shoulders were slightly broad for me. The placket, which covered buttons, had sloppy stitching which was backstitched in white and was not stitched straight across. This was very obvious on checks. I expected the placket to be without any stitching on top. I wanted it to be plain so I could wear a necklace with it. A necklace drew even more attention to this flawed construction detail. It made it less dressy. I thought about this before finally returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ExColoradoan Banded collar and banded cuffs are very feminine
I ordered this shirt in Medium Petite size and it fits my 5'4" 150lb figure perfectly. The banded collar, banded cuffs, and covered placket make this shirt more dressy than a collared shirt and the front bust darts are well placed for proper fit (thanks LLB for bringing back the use of essential bust darts!). Princess seams on the back are smooth and well stitched. Overall, I think this is a wonderful shirt and have already ordered the same style in another color. White fabric is opaque enough to wear without a slip or camisole in summer.
