Rated 5 out of 5 by Tomfas86 Seems well built but dimensions are incorrect.
I bought this to fit inside the bed of my truck. My truck bed measures 72.5 inches. As of 4/29/16 anywhere I find this item online lists the length at 72 inches. I set it up in my living room and it looked a little long. Sure enough it measures 75 inches.
I can't speak for the longevity/durability of the item but it seems very solid and high quality. I'm just upset that I'll have to be returning it. It's very nice i wish it had been accurately described.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MorningMist Very nicely designed and engineered; comfortable
I use this cot for car camping and kayak camping. It's small enough to fit in the kayak hatch.
For luxurious kayak camping you have a couple of choices. The first would be the Helinox Cot One plus a good inflatable mattress like the Exped Symat 7. The second would be a thicker inflatable mattress by itself, like the Exped Synmat 12. Those two setups are about equally comfortable ***on flat ground.*** For simplicity, lighter weight, and more compact size on flat ground, go with option #1. For rough ground go with option #2. The main advantage of the cot is that it makes rough ground irrelevant. Plus it gives some useful storage space underneath it in a small tent.
This cot can be assembled in two minutes and taken apart and stowed in one minute. It has a nice taught surface, extremely comfortable. It holds weight very well, doesn't feel fragile at all.
To the person who said it takes too much strength to take it apart, there's a trick to it. Stand the cot on its side and stand next to it. Push down on the end of the "duck bill" clamp. That releases the tension. Pinch the silver clips together and let up on the clamp. Once you figure this out, disassembly is very easy, I promise.
In my opinion, this is not a backpacking item because it's the same size and weight as a tent, sleeping bag, or mattress, and there just isn't room in a backpack for an additional item, nor do backpackers want to carry the "big 4" instead of the "big 3." But it's perfect for kayak, canoe, and car camping.

Super simple!! The cot is easy to put together and just ensure you read the leg!! It will ensure you assemble it correctly. Although the middle part of the poles have a rubber/silicone o ring the leg will fit and tighten. I have either gone above or below as I do not want to deform the gasket/o ring. (FYI) I am PluckyDucks husband, I am 6 foot 4 inches and about 225 lbs and this fits me great!! Very comfy, stable, light. Our 4 year old granddaughter has used it for "camping" and she likes it too!
Have used it for naps at work as well. Super fast set up and take down.

At first blush, this items looks great. Fit and finish well worth the $300.00 price tag. Putting the cox together is where the problem arise. The quick release springs are sub-standard. Once engaged, it takes a 18oz. Craftsman Hammer to disengage. That should not be the case with a cox at this price point. If you purchase this cox, don't forget to bring your hammer !

Rated 5 out of 5 by MM44120 This cot is a dream!
I admit it. I had my eye on this product ever since I purchased the Helinox One chair. I saw the cot on sale and I broke down and bought it and I'm glad I did. There are times when I traveling that I need a cot for the extra person in the room or in the cottage. The bed size might be too small, or some other practical issue and I've wanted a bed that could pack into the suitcase. Sleeping on the floor is always an option, but why? This cot is very easy to set up, extremely comfortable, and fits in a standard large suitcase. I would bring it car camping, but it is too large (in my opinion) to bring backpacking. The only downside is the price. It is rather expensive when not on sale.

After years of making do with light and inflatable mattresses the back and shoulders were screaming for more. Granted, this thing is heavier than the aforementioned mats but I'm sure some younger folks wouldn't mind hiking with it, but it's perfectly light, durable, convenient and rewarding to use for hunting camp, festivals, and car camping. Assembly really doesn't take much at all, maybe a minute at most and it easily held 3 adults sitting on it. Breaks down just as fast and dries quickly. Gonna get another for the wife!
