The fabric is too thin to be practical. I should have read the negative comment on this item before ordering. It's not worth $39 after the discount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TheHandsomeBear Petite fits big
At 5' 2.5" and 135 lbs, I ordered the 8 petite in the navy plaid. The waist and seat were baggy--even though my waist is 31" and hips 38.5"--and the length fell below my ankle. According to size chart, I should be a 10 or 12.
Then I accidentally shrunk them slightly in the dryer, and fortunately, they fit perfectly now! In fact, I wash them in a cold water wash and hang to dry once a month with no further shrinkage. I love the style and the fine, lycra wool blend is really forgiving. If I order again, I'm unsure if 6 petite will fit as well!
I live Vancouver and we don't normally dip below freezing so the pants are great for most work days. I wear them with flats or heals--equally flattering.

Yes, these are a light weight wool, and as such they fit great. With the correct shirt, sweater or jacket you can change the whole look of these. I purchased my normal size 6 regular. I am 5 ft, 6 in they are however not crop on me. I would have to either hem or order petite for that. I wanted them to be regular length. Love these

Rated 4 out of 5 by MsBlanche Slimming but thin...fabric
They fit, they make you look slim but the fabric is really really thin. When LLBean says three seasons, they mean spring, summer, fall. Other than that, they are just as everyone says, but I admit I would have preferred a pocket--even a small one--for a key or a kleenex. So you always have to have a purse of some kind with you. For that reason I considered sending them back but wore them instead and decided to put up with the lack of a pocket.
What are those designers thinking when they won't give us at least a single pocket? Men's pants ALWAYS HAVE POCKETS. I'm talking to you. LL Bean...@!

I like the style and lightweight feel of these pants. They are a little itchy, but it is wool after all. Also, my interior button came undone after just one wear. Great for Fall!

I love the wool trousers from last season (I have three pairs) so I decided to try this new variation. The fit is a tad slimmer and the wool is not as soft but you do gain stretch as a result. Another commenter complained about how thin the wool is but I like it as it means the pants are wearable all year. Based on the fit chart I would've been a size six but I bought the four because I've always been a 2/4 in Signature. I'm glad I took my own advice as the four is a perfect fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 Quality lacking...
I love the rise of this pant and the overall style. The wool is just too thin. If you are looking to wear these this winter, you will be very cold.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tollerlover waist too high but other wise good quality pants
Love the pattern, hate the high waist. Also, does run small. would be great pants if waist hit below the waist. as is, hits above the waist so not flattering but, great pattern and good quality.
