Rated 5 out of 5 by Droidiphile Great Gloves - Be Aware --> Undersized
I love these gloves. The gel pads seemed too few at first glance, but in actual usage are excellently placed and sized. They have got it where it counts and they stopped my palm numbness totally.
Be aware :: undersized! I needed XXL but I have small hands for a 200lb male. They are sized for pro cyclists, the biggest of whom are <180lbs. Lance was 135 lbs at his heaviest. So just order 1-2 sizes too big and you should be good. It would be nice if LLBean posted a modified sizing chart, but really guys, just be aware.

I biked for years without gloves like these. I actually forgot them once on a 10 mile ride and the ride was much less pleasant than with them. They really do cushion the hands from the bumps of the bad Maine roads.

Needed new gloves with more padding than current ones, as well as having a great fit. These filled the bill.

Rated 1 out of 5 Fine, if you enjoy pain
Wore these two times and my lower palm hurt so much I had to switch back to my old riding gloves. Another rider in our group bought the same ones and had the exact same problem. Poorly placed padding if you ride a road bike. These are definitely going back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ThosB Best cycling glove
For a three season cycling glove this is the best I've found (and I looked long and hard at a wide range of sources) and in addition to it's fine quality it is backed by LL Bean's ironclad warranty. The gel pockets make the glove good at absorbing the punishment that a bike rider's hands get from the weight that is on them from a typical rider's position. I like the security of the hook and loop tab which is lacking on many of the more recent biking gloves. The imitation leather palms seem to be holding up well. I hope to be able to get at least a couple of season's worth of use out of these gloves.

These gloves do not follow the LL Bean sizing guide for gloves. Had to return the Ls for XLs. Well-constructed.

Cycling gloves are not rocket science, but it's nice to have gloves that fit well, provide some decent cushioning, and don't make your hands or face black when they get sweaty. These fill the bill. They're advertised as easy to remove with a little tab on the 4th digit that you can put a finger in to help pull them off. That's marginally helpful, but we all know that removing a shorty glove that fits well is a little slow... no big deal. These are nice gloves for your cycling wardrobe.

They seem to be well made & comfortable, but I didn't like the way they fit @ the wrist. The XL did not fit my husbands hands even with the measurement chart.

These gloves are comfortable and fit well. The usefulness of the small finger tab on the ring finger is nice for removing the tight fitting glove but with it only on one finger it takes almost as much time to remove the cloge by pulling on each finger as it has with gloves without this nice feature.

the XL fit well as I had measured around my hand at about 10 inches. I haven't been on a ride longer than 30 minutes with them yet, but they felt like they were isolating some of the jostling and vibration of the road I usually go on and am sure over the course of a day or several hours' ride would seriously reduce hand and wrist fatigue. I was having trouble getting them off, then saw the clever tab firmly sewn between the outside two fingers on each glove, you just hook one finger of the other hand into the tab and they pull right off. Very clever. Good buy if you ride more than ten minutes at a time.
