I love the fabric and features on this shirt, but the fit is a bit of a problem. With my 34" bust, I checked the chart and bought two of this shirt in Small. When I put them on, they seem to fit and look good. There's no gaping between the buttons or anything. But I can't bend over and use my arms! Pinioned! And there is zero stretch in this ultra-cool shirting. I'm glad LL Bean has such a great return policy: although I expect the Medium to hang off me like a tent, I will try it and hope for the ability to tie my shoes while wearing it.

Love the fabric, teal color and quality is excellent. Only thing is the size runs a size too small. I usually wear a small or medium. This medium is way too tight through the back, arms, and waist. Order a size up and you will love this shirt.

When I first felt the fabric of the shirt, I had serious doubts about its promise to keep me cool. It feels and sounds nylon-y and I thought wearing it would be like wrapping myself in plastic. I'm delighted to say that I was wrong. I wore it outside to garden in 90 degree heat/80% humidity and while the shirt got soaked, I stayed dry. I took a break outside from gardening before going for a 2 1/2-mile walk, and by the time the break was over (about 15 minutes), the shirt was dry again. This is the first time I have bought a shirt that promised to wick away moisture and actually did the job. This is why I love L.L. Bean!
Not an issue, just a note: the blue is not "pastel." It's a pretty, bold ocean/turquoise blue.

Cool, comfortable and attractive. Lightweight for my recent vacation and easily packs away without ironing. I originally bought this for myself now I had to order this for a lady friend in her 80's because she loved the look on me.

These are great shirts. Love the front pockets and the left one has a hidden zipper. I normally wear a M or L depending on style. I purchased in XL based on some of the reviews and I am exchanging them for L size. The XL have too much room and more boxy in the torso for me. My suggestion is order your regular size. I think they are true to fit. Great lightweight material and love the UV protective quality.

I was disappointed to find this year's shirt runs quite a bit smaller (bust, shoulders & back) than previous year's shirts. Since I wear an XL, this shirt is no longer an option. The 3 shirts bought in 2012 and 2013 still fit quite well.

This shirt is very light and airy. Love it. I only wish there was a little bit of stretchy material in the shoulders for when I lift my arms up. Other than that, very comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by killian55 Great shirt, BAD BUTTONS !
Great shirt, however, the buttons are rubbery and are EXTREMELY difficult to button through the buttonholes. I love the material of the shirt, but the buttons are almost a deal-breaker for me. Would also like to see offered in more plaid colors. Fit is a little tight through the shoulders.

This is a really well-made, comfortable, flatteringly cut shirt! The minute I tried it on I was wishing this endless winter away.
Everything about it, from the mesh hidden above the double-front pockets, to the mesh underneath the back shoulder blade area says, "Bring It On, Summer Heat!" I wish it came in a hundred more colors. I'd just have to buy them all.
