Rated 5 out of 5 by MartAnn Great for working outside in wet conditions
I wear these boots for yardwork and have used them extensively to work around a lakefront, clearing weeds and muck. Hands down they are great. Durable, have traction and no leaks. And they look better than the average rain boot....not that it matters when you are otherwise covered in mud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hecowe Best-Looking rain boot ever, but ...
The brown houndstooth is the best looking rain boot I have ever come across, but I'm a size 5. Any idea where I can find this in my size? I'd buy it in a second if you carried my size!

I am excited to wear these rain boots. They are attractive, well made. They will look good in dresses or jeans. I bought them to wear on rainy days since I have a little bit of walk sometimes in the rain, The only negative is that they only come in whole sizes but with some fuzzy socks on so my feet will not slide around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LovebeingIrish awesome, fit well
Only had these boots a few weeks and they are one of my favorite. Wear them for gardening, walking to the back property on wet grass, and in the rain. Wash off nicely, keep my feet dry and warm. Fit perfect!

I ordered these boots and they arrived looking terrific -- tall, well made, nice tread etc. However, they are way too tight in the calf. They literally squeezed my leg too much at the top. No space to tuck in slacks and definitely not enough room for the Wellie warmers I bought a few years ago for my prior pair of tall rainboots from LL Bean. Literally the boot needs at least another inch of space in the calf for the boot to be worn comfortably. It was so tight that I had to have my husband help pull it off.
Really too bad because the boot is attractive and looks well made but the calf width needs to be re-thought because my bet is that most women who buy these boots do so intending to tuck in their slacks or wear warmers with them.
I opted to return the boots via an LL Bean store rather than ship them back. No problem with the refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Earthlover87 Nice boots
These are nice looking boots, I wear them with skirts or pants.
I usually wear size 81/2 so I ordered size 8 and they fit perfectly.
The only thing I don't like is they make a clop clop sound when you walk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tcalc Loved them... BUT...had to return :(
Loved these boots! ....Well made and true to size unless you have WIDE feet. Slightly snug and to narrow at the front of the boot. I needed a little more room. Socks or bare feet it didn't matter.
Length for a size 6 is perfect! They don't come in 1/2 sizes.
So I had to return:( I even ordered another pair just to make sure!
Thanks LL Bean.. a little wider please !!

This is my 2nd pair of Wellies from Bean. The first pair was about 10 years ago and is still going strong. They look brand new. That exact same style is no longer available (wish they were) and this pair is a higher boot. Time will tell. I read the previous reviews and so ordered a full size larger than the first pair. They seem to be fine although I haven't had much of an opportunity to wear them since they arrived. All of Bean's products are wonderful and we will continue to be faithful customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tata2003 Fully Confident My Feet Will be Dry!
This boots are light-weight and stylish. They fit a little on the large size, which is great for me because it allows insertion of my orthotics, but if you have young and care-free feet, you might want to order a size smaller than your regular size.
I have slopped through lots of country mud and puddles already this spring in these boots and my feet have stayed cozy and dry.
I love these wellies!

Rated 4 out of 5 by ImCrazyAboutBean Comfortable and waterproof
These boots are good-looking, comfortable, and waterproof. They're easy to get into and out of. The only limitations for me are the strap and buckle. Although they look very nice, they are not practical for someone who is doing serious wading in ponds. I walk my dog through our pond and have a lot of vegetative debris stuck to the strap and buckle.
