Rated 4 out of 5 by WeekendRiders good for biking
It is well-made and suitable for biking. Haven't used it on a rainy day yet, but favorable past experience with Gore-Tex is expected to continue. Seems to breathe well and is very light. It has no hood, but these are available separately and the combination probably works better. There are no hand pockets, which is a bit surprising and reduces its usefulness when not on the bike.

Gore Bike Wear is always stellar, and this Element CT Cycling Jacket does not disappoint. It's waterproof, yet breathable. This bears repeating. It's waterproof, yet breathable. Fits well for cycling. Also works just fine as a wind barrier or for early morning Spring / Summer rides. I think it wears true to size. Not super slim, not bagger either. Well worth the investment.

After getting soaked so often while wearing supposedly waterproof products, I was ready to try a Gore-Tex product. I was looking for something light-weight and durable for hiking. Then I noticed this cycling jacket and pants in the L L Bean catalogue. This product is exactly what I was looking for: waterproof but breathable through the fabric not just vents, light-weight, and free shipping. I look forward to cycling in this as well as backpacking.
