Rated 5 out of 5 by MAEventer Another great shoe from Oboz!
This is the 3rd pair of Oboz shoes from LL Bean that I have loved. There was a 4th pair, but when I hiked in them, they didn't work for me. LL Bean took them back no questions asked. That is why I LOVE buying hiking shoes and boots from you! I love the mid-Bridgers (in an 11) for winter, and I have the low Bridgers for wearing to work in the winter (in a 10). I was looking for something lighter weight for summer, and these fit great. I went up half a size for summer foot swelling and half a size for hiking socks, so instead of my normal size 10 for athletic shoes, I got a size 11. I wear a size 9-9.5 in dress shoes. These have a stiff sole, I find that really supports my feet hiking and reduces fatigue. Oboz are the only boots that I have been able to wear with my narrow heels, wide forefoot, and plantar fasciitis. I cannot recommend them enough. For me, the Oboz with the Granite Peak outsole work best.

These arrived just in time for Snowmageddon 2016. The fit is perfect (I wear a 9.5 and ordered this size and they are perfect with medium socks). The insole is not squishy soft, but my feet don't feel tired or achy after wearing them for a full day. No break-in required. We are in an area that received rain after the snow. This morning I stood in running water that covered most of shoes to shovel slush for about an hour and my socks were bone dry. My feet were also warm, but not hot. I am totally impressed with their performance and comfort and will definitely looking at other models to purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MainahForLife I LOVE THESE
I'll start with a simple con: a bit more cushioning would be nice.
Otherwise, the fit and support are fantastic. The light weight hasn't taxed my tendons and knees. I wore them for the first snow fall and spent several hours shoveling; dry feet and barely cold without heavy socks. I am impressed with the traction they provide, no slipping and sliding.
I did get a half size bigger (9 instead of 8.5) to accommodate thicker socks and extra toe room. So far, worth the money!

I have the Oboz 3/4 hikers and these low hikers fit and feel as great as those.

Rated 1 out of 5 by FlyngTigr I really TRIED to like these!
The fit was spot on, and the shoes are very supportive and comfortable as far as sizing. I love the styling, which is what initially drew me to these. They do seem durable and I've never had leaky/wet foot issue.
The shank on them is SO rigid and heavy that they wore my feet out. There is ZERO cushioning and I found my knees would ache every single time I wore them. The outer soles are CRAZY slippery on wet rocks. Even a stone walkway or patio - not just out in the woods! I felt I had very little feedback as to the terrain under my feet.
I really wanted to like these, but had to send them back. Everytime I would think about wearing them for hiking I would cringe and just wear my old worn horribly broken up Solomons.
