Rated 3 out of 5 by BCChiker Too bulky
I do like warm sweaters, but this one is just too thick and bulky, especially in the sleeves. Also, the v-neck is unflatteringly high. And, be advised, the "Island Coral" is more like a light orange.

I ordered this sweater in a petite size so it would not be as long as described. I also ordered a size up, to medium and I am delighted with the fit. I wore it the day it was delivered and it has been washed and came through just as nice as it was in the first wearing. This will be a three season sweater. The texture of the sweater created in the different stitches also gives more interest in its visual appearance. A great all around sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by maryincanada great sweater for fall/winter
I recently bought the indigo v necked sweater. It is more of a medium blue than indigo but pretty all the same. I would not say this is a spring /summer sweater, it is heavy and is better for fall and winter. Like the other reviewers noted, it is fitted and longer than a typical pullover . It looks great with skinny jeans and leggings; not so much with regular fitting pants as it tends to cling around the hips and rear and shows the lumpy parts. I am looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ecm86 Great sweater for fall!
I saw this sweater on sale in my local LLBean store and fell in love. I purchased the light purple color. The color is absolutely beautiful, and the sweater feels like it is made from a very thick, high quality material. I cannot wait to wear this sweater when it gets cooler in the fall! I have worn it around the house a few times and it is extremely comfortable. I will definitely be purchasing more colors!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jed4 Thicker than I thought
This is a very nice sweater - soft, warm and long enough for a moderately tall person. However, it is a lot thicker than I thought - definitely more of a winter sweater, despite the summery colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by rappunzell Very clingy - in all the wrong places
This sweater is too thick, clingy, and long. The way it hangs on me, it conceals my chest, and enlarges my hips and buttocks. Very unflattering!
I've been very dissatisfied with LLB fit on many items. They have a tendency to make armholes much too big, sleeves too short (instead of a two-button adjustable cuff with a longer sleeve) and a shapeless body. Too bad since I like many of the fabrics and colors.

I like everything about this sweater. Great shape, fit and quality. Lightweight. I am 5'4" and ordered petite and it is long enough to cover to mid hip. It is my go to top. I am going to order another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by eibbed0615 I just orded my second Marled Cotton Sweater
This sweater fits nicely and the weight of the weave is heavy enough to cover some of those less desirable curves without a cardigan as a cover up. It washes up very nicely, held its shape and did not become shorter after several times thru the washer & dryer. This is a sweater I look forward to wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tovah warm and wonderful - happy clothes
I look forward to coming home to this sweater every night and putting it on. It is just the right length for me (5'8") - I love the color (ocean) - and I especially love how warm it is. It is perfect for MN winter nights. I am buying another one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by neurosurgerytech I Really Should Have Believed the Other Reviewers!
I should have taken the other reviewers at their word -- this sweater really IS too long . . . freakishly long, to the point of being unflattering. I don't mind a longer sweater (say in a cardigan) but with this pull-over style, it just comes off as being frumpy. It goes about two inches past the caboose, so if you've got a generous one like me, it is just going to maximize it all the more. Not a good look.
The colors are lovely, the weight of the sweater is perfect, and I like the texture created by the variations in the knitting. If this sweater could have stopped at mid hip instead of going on to look like a mini-dress, it would have been a winner. Sadly, it is going back.
