Rated 5 out of 5 by MarinaMama Nice and light
Got it on a 2-a-day markdown. Last week it was even less! Oh well. Nice jacket for summer to go over anything, dress or pants. I got small regular (5'4" 125 lbs, 34 DD) and the sleeves are not too long. I like that the forearms and cuffs are loose for ventilation. I don't find the jacket boxy, I think it's perfect. The side pockets hold my cell phone and keys well enough. I've returned items for useless pockets, but these work fine. It came out of the dryer quite wearable, but I never iron anything so you can figure that my wrinkle standards aren't very high. The stone color is sold out, but it's nicely neutral. For me, this Eastwinds linen/cotton jacket is a classic and a winner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by customer111 Comfortable shoulder and sleeves
This jacket offers soft cotton, roomy sleeves, and shoulders so I can lean over to wash my hands in public bathrooms, drive in it comfortably, and even wear it at work with AC. Though it's a bit boxy, I cannot stand tops with tight sleeves or shoulders while driving or having to raise my arms to write on the whiteboard. I don't know why tight sleeves have become today's fashion. If I cannot keep it on, it doesn't matter how good it looks. I bought the coral color in SP. Will buy more if there is white or stone. Thanks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by AZBeanFan Fabric too light, wrinkly
Styling is fabulous, fit is perfect, so comfortable, good buttons, good pockets, but the material is just too light and wrinkled. More shirt than jacket. Wanted to keep it but knew I wouldn't iron it. Even if I did iron it, the wrinkles would quickly return. That's the problem with linen and some cottons too.

I ordered one for myself and my daughter!! I love mine and I have worn it several times. I got the coral, the color is perfect. My daughter's is the Aqua, she liked hers, too. A real winner at a great price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SunbeltGirl Very Cute but Very Boxy
I ordered two of these in small. One for my mom for her birthday and one for me. The material is nice. The colors are vivid and very pretty.
But the jacket was way too boxy for both of us.
I should have read the description better. It's says Relaxed Fit.
And it is!
So for us this jacket did not work out but I wish it had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stonefox Eastwind Jacket - very nice
I ordered this in the turquoise and it's true to the color on the web site. I am sometimes a medium sometimes a large in tops but I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly. I think this will be the perfect jacket to wear this summer in the evening or in air conditioning. I haven't washed it yet so can't speak to that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beanfan16 Terrific!
I bought this for a recent trip to San Francisco. It got folded, packed in a suitcase, then later in a backpack and every time I pulled it out to wear it it looked great! Yes, it wrinkles. That is the nature of linen and cotton. It never once bothered me nor was it over-the-top wrinkled. I willl iron at home but never once on the trip did I feel the compulsion to get out an iron. I like the light weight material. For a petite the sleeve length was perfect as was the length of the jacket. I am very, very pleased with the jacket and would buy another one if I really needed one. Glad I bought it!

Great details add class to overall effect. The fabric is just right for this area. Weight is just what I wanted. Detailing + fabric make for a dressy jacket that goes with everything.

A longtime, loyal LL Bean customer, usually more than satisfied with my purchases, I found myself disappointed with the Eastwind Jacket that I had ordered. I tried it in two sizes, XL and L, and had to return each one. I had so wanted it to work out, but it was over big, too long in the body, and had sleeves that were two long, as well. I am grateful for the no hassle return procedure that LL Bean has.
